Seriously guys, he's not THAT good. He won't make it to the top 20 or whatever group makes it into the actual show.

tonyzoomzoom 01-22-2012 09:33 PM

nice voice, btw

EmperorIS 01-22-2012 09:44 PM

StylinRed 01-22-2012 10:01 PM

i dunno.... when i hear someone try to take on such an amazing song from an amazing artist im going to compare it to that artist

that's why you always hear judges say they shouldnt tackle such a song

and with that here's Michael Bolton singing it live a few years ago

having said that though Heejun sounds pretty good would like to hear him sing something else though and guess i'll get that chance ;)

Probably. Though he's better than a lot of people they've let through in the first episode..

The asians never make it through :lawl:

I was surprised John Park made it through last year

But you never know..

This is very common when you have good singers singing songs in other languages that they are not fluent in. They have practiced the songs to the point where they can imitate the pronunciations there, but their general everyday verbal skills are still lacking.

Not really. Accents of singers usually disappear when they sing a song in a certain language. Of course, if the person sucks ass or has no knowledge whatsoever of the language, you'll notice how shitty his/her English is when he/she sings. But for other people who have a good knowledge of the language but still retain some sort of accent, their singing in the language seems perfect. A good example of this can be heard when you hear British singers...their accents disappear and end up sounding "normal".

The same can be said for that guy.
