Anyone still playing with their Vita?

I haven't really been playing it much these days but Jak and Daxter released today! Perfect game to play lying down in bed or while commuting. One of my first and favorite games on the PS2.

Jak & Daxter Collection (PlayStation Vita) : PS Vita Games - Future Shop

Collecting dust...

Waiting for Final Fantasy X HD. Never played 10, so... I figured this would be the chance. Not sure if I'm gonna bother with X-2 though.

Also waiting for SuperRobot game from Japan...

looks like i found the vita thread. who still has one? i just picked up the slim bundle and i'm looking for any good game suggestions? right now I've been using it for netflix.

^ has framerate issues... Waiting for decent games to come out...haven't even touched my vita for like 3 months

i just picked up a copy of dragon's crown. hoping that'll be a fun title.

GLOW 06-13-2014 07:13 AM

logged about 4 hours of playing time on dragon's crown. i can see why i've read that it was a solid game. quite fun. i like how you can add AI toons to create a party as well, it allows you to have tanks if you decide to play a sorc.

I d/l the demo for ragnarok odyssey ace and that seems like a cool game as well. i might hold off on it as sword art online infinity moment is releasing this summer

bump anyone still using their vita?
I noticed some japanese titles recent launched here...

anyone have/played Sword Art Online: Hallow Fragment ? wondering if it's any good.

ForbiddenX 08-29-2014 02:42 PM

Was planning on picking up SAO: HF but haven't really gotten a chance to. I honestly haven't used my Vita at all lately and have been on the 3DS. Nothing really appeals to me much. I'm planning on playing through FF7 though

GLOW 08-29-2014 02:52 PM

so far i've seen it on PSN, haven't seen it in stores. i was excited as i read that there's online portion to the game, but PSN has it as 1-player with 2-4 on ADHOC which doesn't appeal to me much.

after dragon's crown i picked up DOA5+ and that is a pretty decent port.

Has anyone played the Uncharted game for the Vita? Is it any good?

If you like the Uncharted series its definitely fun and enjoyable. I played it when I first got my Vita and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only minor complaint about it is that they really tried to push you to use front and back touch controls to show what the Vita was capable of. Due to this some parts (not all) can be annoying, but other things are kinda cool.

Last thing is that the controls are a bit odd at first since the two analogue sticks don't work as well as a Dualshock, though you'll probably get use to it.

I bought a Vita when it first came out....

Now using it as a remote play for Destiny!

I’m playing Castlevaina SoTN on my Vita right now.

I’m really hoping that with the introduction of PS TV in North America, they change the OS to allow for multiple accounts to be used on one card. Really screws me over as I have a PS+ main account, and then my own personal account. I can play the PS3/4 PS+ titles across all accounts on the PS3/PS4 hardware, but not on the Vita. Really limits its use for me.

GLOW 09-25-2014 08:26 PM

i've been using mine for netflix :lol

too bad i can't remote play with my ps3. only thing i can do is control/navigate :failed:

GLOW 12-08-2014 05:57 AM

Sword art online hallow fragment is on sale PSN right now. a little over $10 off (more if psn member). tempting but read they are releasing a new title for ps3/vita called lost song based on alfeim world (fairies)

does anyone know how to hack ps vita???

GLOW 08-14-2016 07:17 PM

there's a few sites out there that show how, but i think it renders you unable to go on PSN, similar to ps3 hacks. i haven't tried as i like PSN access.

to follow up on my previous post i bought SAO:HF when it was on sale. after an hour or so i really didn't enjoy the way it played i found it not easy to learn to fight properly and combo. maybe i'm getting old.

adventures of mana - remake of final fantasy adventures from the game boy classic is out on vita. thinking when i get bored i will give it a try as it was my all time fav gameboy game growing up.

anyone else got any suggestions on good vita games or upcoming vita games?

1krzy 08-16-2016 10:38 PM

I tried looking but no hacks for 3.61

twitchyzero 08-16-2016 11:43 PM

Vita all but dead in Canada? amazon, best buy, wal-mart, ebgames doesn't even stock them online.
sony will probably still try to put out a rev 3 despite the miserable sales in the west...i look forward to the eventual $99 fire sale on remaining stock :smug:

GLOW 08-17-2016 07:49 AM

3.61 just released "improved performance" aka blocking homebrew from 3.60 from what i read. perfect comment on forums :lol
"sony doesn't care or do shit all for vita for years. someone releases homebrew and sony updates OS to block it in 3 days...fuck you sony" :lawl:

amazon still carries vita titles online, the others are very limited. i was at eb games at metro a couple of months ago and asked about vita...he grabs me a photocopy print out of the list of games they have. i'm like why don't you put them on display? he's like look around, no real estate :lol i swear the store changed so much half of the store is like merch but i guess they're catering to the current gamer crowd these days.

vita is still popular in jpn hence most games are of the japanese niche variety eg jrpg's
only fire sales i've seen are on US sites which doesn't help due to cdn $

wish they drop the prices on the memory cards though...or someone come out with an alternative memory card
