With all the money they spent on T-Shirts for staff and all the advertising, it's makes sense that it's going to be a bi weekly occurrence.

They even do the $1.49 Day jingle in the advertisement. I guess since Woodwards is gone, there's no copyright?

Went to Bed Bath and Beyond this afternoon. What waste of time. They had signs like “Everything Must Go!” and, “ Nothing Held Back.”
Most items were 10% off. I just walked out after a good laugh.

Was at Superstore on Grandview Hwy this morning with the family. Right at the entrance is this display of Nestlé Turtles. $3.99. MSRP is like $13.99 (not that anyone sells them for that much). Limit of 6. Well, I give cookies to workers at the cemetery, municipal workers, technicians at the dealership, etc. I'm known as the Cookie Monster, gulolol. Anyway, I also saw After Eight's for $2.00 each. What the hell? I don't like them, but other people do. I get three of those. After paying for the stuff, I see that I received 10,000 points for the Turtles. That's $10.00 worth of points. Damn!!
My $24.00 purchase turned out to be $14.00.
WIN!!!

Just got off the phone with an “ambassador”. That’s what they’re called. Sounded really cute, btw. Anyhow. Airmiles Canada is not the same as the US Airmiles. Their site being sporadic is causing alarm. Just to be safe, I’ll try redeeming my miles when the panic dies down. No FOMO here on my end.

K, that's confusing.
There was a part of me that thought ... what if the rumour was started by Airmiles to get people to clear or redeem their collected Airmiles for stuff.
