keep an eye out guys.

NOT my grandma by the way.

She speaks ONLY Mandarin. Just call 9-1-1 if you cant communicate.

If you're walking in the area, take a peek into ditches or wooded areas if possible.

Quote:

Search and rescue crews haven't had any luck finding an elderly woman reported missing Thursday in Burnaby.
Yu Lan Rou Lin is 79-years old, doesn't speak english and suffers from severe dementia.
Haylee Chiang is her grand-daughter.

"She's like anybody else's grandma. She took care of me when I was little. I was never put in pre-school or anything like that, like, she was the one that took care of me."

Other than one possible siting at the Metrotown Bread Garden, Rou Lin hasn't been seen since she left her family's store on Imperial Street around 4pm Thursday.
Anyone who spots her should call 9-1-1.
She's likely wearing a red hat and grey fleece jacket.
Edit: unfortunately, she was found dead in a wooded area. RIP :(

I hope they find her soon, if she speaks no English, I hope she's at least carrying some money and ID on her.

i live on canada way and royal oak, and my dogs are always sitting on the couch staring out the window at the traffic, whenever they see anyone walking outside they bark like fuck and i usually look to see what their barking at. if they happen to bark at her, ill give 911 a call.
