Looks cool.....

Gotta give it a try

Be kinda cool if it was done in chinese with subtitles like the movies lol

SkinnyPupp 05-23-2012 07:34 PM

Would be 100% cooler if it took place in the 80's back when all these cop movies were actually really good

twitchyzero 05-24-2012 12:11 AM

striderblade 05-24-2012 11:35 PM

CorneringArtist 08-03-2012 10:43 AM

Buying this for Xbox. I haven't been this hyped for a game since Armored Core V.

asian_XL 08-04-2012 11:14 PM

I don't see a double deck bus

EmperorIS 08-05-2012 12:13 AM

I want the whole game in Cantonese

SkinnyPupp 08-05-2012 01:11 AM

Still can't get over the main character having a Mandarin name. Unless it's explained in the story, it is just one of those ignorant things that may be a sign that it gets worse

threezero 08-05-2012 03:39 AM

looking at the gameplay no headshot kills???

MoBettah 08-05-2012 08:12 AM

Pre-ordered on steam. Now have the SD pack for TF2 haha!

There are headshot kills. Person demoing isn't that great of a shot. I will say it's not easy at first to pull off headshot kills with a sub-machine gun (most of the weapons are harder to aim), but it's doable.

FYI, I love riding a crotch-rocket in a white suit like Andy Lau. LOL

eLy604 08-10-2012 02:12 PM

this game... is so awesome.

Sleeping Dogs Review - GameSpot.com 8 outta 10.

IGN review 8.5

"IGN: Playing Sleeping Dogs kept me on the edge of my seat, but not for the reasons you might expect. Sure, Sleeping Dogs’ melee combat and gunplay provide plenty of thrills, the driving is extraordinarily fun in all of its arcadey glory, and there’s a whole lot to do in the version of Hong Kong Canadian developer United Front Games created. But at the end of my nearly 20-hour experience, none of that mattered to me as much as the story did. It’s that story, coupled with rock-solid mechanics and a task-heavy world that sets Sleeping Dogs apart from its competition."

I will say this, the story is pretty awesome for an open world game and has many instances of HK cinema interlaced.

RabidRat 08-14-2012 08:56 AM

So is there a reason for the mandarin name or was it really them being sloppy?
