couple of my girl friends know him.. went from gay to wanting to make a full transition to woman.. apparently he was already popular on youtube for doing some sort of comedy skits and how to applying make up, now he is documenting his transitional phase from taking estrogen pills, to legally changing the name from john to julie to getting his adams apple remove to the eventual surgery to be a full woman |
Would it be considered discrimination if they had a rule "naturals only, no boob job, plastic surgery, etc."? |
Why should anyone who is surgically altered be able to compete in a beauty pagent of any sort? Lets allow steroids into the Olympics then. He is now a she and that shouldnt be the issue. The issue is "enhancement" and accepting that in such an event has serious reprocusions. I wouldnt want my kid growing up thinging she needs her lips injected full of shit to look more feminine nor would I want her to feel she needs a tit job for the same reasons. Women more and more are being turned into cartoon characters because of media influence. The most beautiful woman in the universe should be natural there is no place in the body for plastic. Otherwise lets change it to "Miss Universe with the deepest pockets and biggest body kit" |
Olympics is base on performance not looks. Maybe you can say that for bodybuilding competitions. As for gays lesbian transgender and etc media has a huge part on influencing how people turning in these things. You cannot have a competition discriminating girls who are plastic. Life is unfair, deal with it. As for girls whos done up plastic and guys fall for them expect to have a baby who does not look anything like their mother :troll: |

in case it hasn't been mentioned earlier in the thread, sex and gender are different. You can be biologically male (sex), but identify as a female (gender). Two different things. This is how people can 'identify' with being one or the other gender. Gender is a social construct, it's open to interpretation. Sex, however, is not (until you get a physical sex change). |

Especially if things get serious and I start thinking about a future, it is important for me that I am biologically and sexually able to reproduce children with my partner the "natural" way, for the lack of a better term. |
From today's entensity post: Teacher: "Who can use the word trainee in a sentence?" Little Johnny: "ME ME ME!" Before the teacher could stop him, little Johnny went ahead. "The trainee looked like a girl, but had a monster cock." |

Any isolated population, be it Japan, Iceland, Myanmar, Cuba or countless others, has a limited influx of new genetics patterns into the population. Over a period of time, even in a relatively large population, strangers will have genetic patterns equivalent to that of distant cousins, this case in the countries I gave above. Over time the genetic relationships between all members of the population will become even closer, strangers would be the equivalent of close cousins. The result is an increase in the prevalence of genetic diseases as time passes, but truly massive genetic issues like deformities would take a great deal of time in populations with relatively large genetic bases. Cousins legally can, and more often than one would expect, do, marry and have healthy children. A good historical example of this are the monarchies of Europe, every relationship of the aristocracy in Europe to produce a child for nearly a millennium were at least cousins, since people didn't marry outside of their own class. For the most part the children born to those pairings were relatively healthy though, because it takes multiple generations for the gene pool to be sufficiently narrowed for major issues to begin arising. |
Thanks mb, I was talking about the issue with a friend during my last japan trip. Couldn't have said it better myself ;) |
This is why it's kind of cool that invasions took place. Japan and England weren't totally isolated. |
