What is the best home security company?
I did a quick search and found AlarmForce and Brinks

Anyone have experience with Vivint?

I've had ADT at home for many years and can't complain

Vivint is a Utah based door knocker campaign. If you remember a company called APX that were all over the news for misrepresenting themselves, this is the same company with a new name.

If you want to deal with a Vancouver based company that has been in business 35+ yrs PM me.

I have alarm force and they are great, have never had any issues and it's kinda cool being able to talk to someone if you acidently set off your alarm.

Big dog house, big chain leash, size 15 steel toe boots and some beware of dog and no trespassing signs.

I have heard good things about MIDAS Alarm - based out of Vancouver.

Regardless of what system or company you chose,the alarm is only as good as the people who installed it and the persons who monitor it.

A house alarm is not 100% theft proof,theives are smart nowadays,they know they have a few minutes before the cops are called and when they will arrive,so they will scope your stuff out,kick in the door and grab whatever they want and take off.

I have 3 trained APBT,so far I have had no problems at all,even though last year 3 houses on my block got broken into.

CBA. pay 12 months get 2 free. works out to be les than $25/month. and they send you a chinese calendar for chinese new year.

CBA is the shittest company ever, the equipment they installed never worked correctly, always had problems, and they're suppose to speak chinese when they call, but they never do. A chinese speaker was a requirement in case my mom needs to talk to them but its never a chinese person that calls when the alarm goes off.

theres only litterally 2 chinese alarm companies out there that does monitoring and servicing.

The reason I am looking for new security is because I almost had a break and enter one night but scared them off.
So got me thinking and tested my alarm system. I purposely open the door with alarm on and it rang. I waited for the call for the operator.... waited 15 minutes and no call.

So I call the alarm company and they said we haven't received payment for that past year and would gladly turn it on for me if I paid.
I have the receipts for all bills paid for the past year you fucken IDIOTS. And when this problem happened why didn't you give me a call that your cutting services.

If you want high end security, I suggest

provident security, paladin security, and genesis security

just because they have road runners out there.

the "best" would probably be provident.

just a thing, when you have an alarm make sure you have a monitoring service. Don't cheap out and just get some alarm and hope the sound scares off people.

I mean think about it, when you hear an alarm outside would you follow the sound or just scream out "shut that off"
