Not only that, but it can be pretty difficult to get a hold on a dog when he or she is not wearing their collar....

My best friend has two rat terriers (one pure, one a Chihuahua X) and they chase after absolutely everything that moves. Add in the fact that they're super small, so they can escape through pretty much the tiniest opening in the fence. It's more of a better safe than sorry practice and she'd rather not lose 'em. Back on topic: Good job, Maijin!
Guess my dads dog is different. Mind you only time he goes in the yard is at 6 am and just before bed to do its business. Other then that its on walks. And when he is in the yard right after he is done he books it back to the door.

still don't see the need to have a collar on when the dog is in the yard to do its business. Yard should be properly fenced to protect the dog from wandering off.

But yes back on topic, hope you can find her home.

Called the shelter. Owner picked it up.

Hopefully they are more careful. Their dog almost got hit twice on steveston highway, and lucky im that guy that doesn't wanna see a dog getting run over.
