Another Neapolitan pizza place opened up recently on Commercial across the street from Marcello: Famoso Neapolitan Edmonton Calgary Pizza Wine Gelato Restaurant | Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria They're originally based in Alberta. Anyone try? |
Famoso is good, I ate it quite a bit when I was in edmonton. It doesn't compare to nicli, pizzeria farina or pizzeria barbarella though. |
have you guys tried Neighbours pizza? It was featured on the food network..looked really good. |

So where's the best pizza these days? Going out for dinner with some friends tomorrow and we are looking for the best pizza joint in the lower mainland. Where's the best pizza around these days?? Posted via RS Mobile |
Neighbors is pretty great as far as I'm concerned I'm usually a big meat guy but their garlic artichoke pizza is fuckin delicious Posted via RS Mobile |
If you like thin crust, Goldie's at the corner of Pender and Seymour downtown makes a GREAT pizza. I had one last night, mmm.. 9/10 (once I added chill flakes, 10/10) |

What about outside of Vancouver? I hate going DT this time of year. |
Steveston Pizza....not sure if its been mentioned yet but i love their pizza Welcome to www.stevestonpizza.com |
Not sure if the best but you could try Nicli Antica Pizzeria in Gastown. They're one of those brick-oven style pizza joints. My personal favourite would be Trilussa along Main St. It's a small joint but the pizza there is amazing and its cheap too! |
Ali Baba Pizza - Located in Victoria, British Columbia Canada they have a location at the tsawwassen ferry terminal. Huge chunks of meat on there pizza. 1 slice has has enough toppings for 3 slices of regular chain store pizza. |
Pacifico Pizza Pacifico Pizza Restaurant & Cafe | Downtown Vancouver, BC I was recently there and the pizza is pretty good. I tried the Vesuvio and Sicilian, it was tasty. 970 Smithe Street Vancouver BC, V6Z0A4 604 408 0808 Hours of Operation Monday 11am - 11pm Tuesday 11am - 11pm Wednesday 11am - 11pm Thursday 11am - 11pm Friday 11am - 12am Saturday 12pm - 12am Sunday 12pm - 11pm They do take out as well but I think eating in is much better. The quality doesn't seem the same for some odd reason, maybe the Chef who cooked my meal wasn't into it the day my food wasn't as top notch as it normally is. |
Not super amazing or jaw dropping, but my local favourites are:
Both aren't in the downtown core if that means anything to you. Some may argue that there are better pizzerias but for me, it's personal preference. |
