Fyi the screen protector has to be made that way because the edge of the screen curves. The only way you'll get full glass coverage is to use a wet apply one like zagg, xo, ghostarmor, etc.

lol pretty sure i was like one of the first person to get the spg and bitched at them so they remade it, i still have the original one that covers the whole screen but due to the curves it doesn't stick on lol.. had to take so many damn pictures for them too.. i dunno why they couldn't just get a one x and try it themselves.. kinda dumb... i ended up using the ishieldz for the screen. if done right, it's perfect. as for cases i'm just using the OEM case from HTC the clear one. and just a fyi, some cases especially the otterbox you can buy here will not fit the international one x. there's a tiny tiny difference in dimension i compared it.

also waiting for htc to make the NA version of their case, since it only comes in international spec and the camera is slightly higher on the NA version of the phone.

ya i doubt HTC will make cases for the NA version.. there's barely any HTC brand accessories in north america to begin with so you prolly won't see one anytime soon.

Hey guys! Just wanted to give a shout out on a problem with the One X's Camera App!

So I am quite interested in getting the phone myself, to upgrade from my 4S.


I went to BestBuy (Metrotown location) to play with the One X sample. Since camera speed on mobile devices is very important to me, I tapped on the camera app. ONLY to find out that it was faulty and unable to snap any photos. The salesman on the floor couldn't get it to work either.

**After a while, repeatedly tapping on the camera app would just freeze the phone momentarily.


Long story short, I also dropped by FutureShop (Metrotown location), and the One X sample has the same problem. The salesman over there was at a loss to give me an explanation. He says that since the Demo phones are literally used 24/7, the phone itself may be prone to defects prematurely.


I know many of you is already rockin' one OR will soon be picking one up, but do watch out for the camera app though, because it MAY crap out on you...:ahwow:

p.s- I googled the problem, but little results turned up.

God damn, they don't have Android Revolution for the Rogers HTC model.

it's also possible that it's just an issue with either the rogers firmware, or there was too many apps opened on the phone resulting in not enough memory? have they tried to restart the phone? i have never seen that problem in any of the one x i've sold or the one i have now but mine is a international version

Anyone having cellular radio issues? My phone keeps crapping up. I keep getting a "restricted access changed" error, or a "disconnected because the radio was turned off." Connection keeps cutting in and out, and my phone is pretty much a giant iPod Touch.

I can't get any sort of mobile data going on even with the correct APNs. I even swapped the SIMs with a new microSIM that works fine in my other phone.

I guess you have a point there. But as I recall, the demo One X didn't have any sim cards installed. So I guess it might be the "too many apps open" problem.

Of course. Even gave him the Rogers case number if he decides to send it in.

Didn't see this till now, but mines pretty much having the same issues.

Random no signal for cellular/data multiple times a day. Past the 15 day exchange period so I have to send it in now. :(

Mine was different though. I would have no signal as long as data was on, but once it was off, I wouldn't get any errors.

Curious, but do you guys ever lock on accurately with GPS? I'm always like 1800 meters accurate.
