Pretty much my dream phone right now :okay:

This phone has gotten good reviews and the screen is supposed to be amazing, i'm tempted if Samsung doesn't announce the Galaxy S3 anytime soon.

Just read a lot of TW forums. There are some bugs need to be fixed.
Ex, Gets too hot, and yellowish Screen problem...etc.

Samsung Galaxy S3 will show up on May 22nd in Euro.

how's the tegra 3 on battery life?

I wouldn't sit around waiting for the SGS3...That won't be released here until late this year. Based on history, the phone will be released late summer around July.

HTC generally has a better build quality than Samsung. Their phones are solid inside/out and rarely run into problems. I enjoy having Sense on my phone because I can always root the phone and get rid of it and go to Vanilla rom if I want. However, you can't take your vanilla rom and put on stock Sense; so having a phone with Sense is best of both words, imo.

I might just go for the HTC One S because it reminds me of the Nexus One. I loved the build and feel of that phone. Telus has or is coming out with it, so I imagine the prices will be drop significantly in the next little while.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised that their flagship One X is only polycarbonate vs the One S micro arc ceramics.

regarding about the the screen is bit yellow... i don't have any problem of that.

just my phone get bit hot when you are streaming videos and games.

i was hoping for the S3 to come out soon, but if prices is good in china i might get it in the next 2 months (hoping for more reviews)

My sis just got the white one.

like others have said, it gets hot...yes HOT. It makes you feel uncomfortable that it might explode or fuck something up inside. Another issue is the white version, it is very annoying to keep it clean. Actually, it is impossible to keep it clean as new. My sis is pissed that there's already a big long blue mark on her phone and nothing she can do about it.

OEM headphone, even it supports Beats, you can forget about it. Pay a little bit more for the Beats headphone. It's so much better (obviously).

Speed is the least concern. I am using Asus TP and Tegra should run anything SMOOTH at this point. S2 is still faster enough for everyday application.

Resale value. I see people has begun to sell it after the first week. Normally 5% off the retail price.

does LG manufacture the IPS screen just like for the iphone? Looks like the north americans get the 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor for LTE

S II came out in May...and July in Canada...you are probably thinking of the 4.5" versions (S II X and the S II LTE)

i like that the camera can take pics while recording video but shame that the PQ sucks

and the fact that it gets hot and dirty (lol)


I was actually considering ditching nokia for it

Maybe a system update will fix the heat issue. Happened on my last 2 phones where an update reduced the amount of heat.

i can not believe that stylin would stay that, but after reading the review on gsmarea im not gonna be taking it cuz there no card slot & takes micro sim which is gay IMO

well i really liked the design with the nokia-esque polycarbonate shell etc etc and before the reviews actually came out the camera was touted to be a killer

but most of what i was looking forward too didn't meet expectations (even the housing since it stains something nokia predicted hence the gloss coat)

but yeah i was definitely thinking about it :P

i just ordered the white HTC One x premium edition ~ might as well get the beat solo headset with it for $100 ~~ screw the XL... 16gb storage with prolly less than 9gb available after rom and shit ain't gonna work for me.. no LTE but i doubt i'll be using it to stream stuff considering the lack of battery life nowadays on smartphones..

i admit id like to try one out as well ive been looking at rogers booths etc but i havent seen them around

only thing that sucks about the 900 imo is it doesnt have the curved screen like the n9/800


I've heard a lot of ppl dis SenseUI but looking at it it looks great imo i don't get why people like touchwiz over it ?

Curved screen...i dont even notice it anymore on my GalaxyNexus

SenseUI looks great, but it doesnt do anything out of the ordinary aside from looking good, in which widgets can replace that clock, or their widgets. Aside from that their launcher looks okay.

TouchWiz is just simple..still bad haha
