If they tried to give me that stall I would have lost my mind.

^ that one is as tiny as mine

* there is always a minivan parked beside mine, and no way I can get out from the left side.

Yeah, my strata sent me a warning about staining/fluid marks in my parking stall. I was pissed, because neither of my cars leak oil, same with my wifes car. Plus, I never did any fluid changes... turns out it was from the tire shine I was using on my tires. When they went to power wash the parking garage, they assumed it was oil lol.

A little degreaser and a scrub brush and I had strata off my ass.

Test fitting the mirrors in COLD

Check out my parking stall, 1.9m wide car in a 2m wide spot, that is right next to a concrete wall

One of my winter tires on the Acura was slashed a few nights ago. Since they don't make Nokian Hakka R's anymore, and the Hakka R2's were out of stock, I had to bite the bullet and replace it with a single Nordman 5. It was close to closing time on a Saturday evening and I had to bomb out of town that night. Not ideal, but oh well.

Also, swapped in a new MotoMaster Eliminator Ultra flat plate battery. Less CCA's than I was wanting, but it certainly doesn't seem to be affected by the -20*+ weather we've been having as of late.

Lol...does no one else have a significant other that isn't mechanically inclined but still enjoys spirited driving and appreciates a nice ride? say it ain't so!

Did the last of the mods I wanted to get done during this holiday today: hella horns and a gloss black rs grill.

Tastic did you really use woodworking clamps to compress springs?

hud 91gt 01-03-2015 08:01 AM

I was going to say the same thing last night. haha

tastic 01-03-2015 08:23 AM

What did you do to your vehicle today?

Just a trick to help with height adjustment. They are obviously not strong enough to compress the springs, but a pair of wood clamps relieves just enough pressure on the upper collar that I can just reach up with my bare hands to turn the adjuster. The included tool is hard to seat up there so this way is much easier.

You're not alone! lol

When we bought my wife's Mazada 3, she told me she was fine leaving it stock.

I explained to her, that the word 'stock' is a forbidden word in our house, and that no car of ours will ever be stock. She promptly rolled her eyes lol

But within a month, I had the 3 lowered with new spings/shocks, and a new wheel set up. After which, she requested I paint the emblems balck. *sniff* I was so proud lol

fliptuner 01-03-2015 09:59 AM

Same boat, same car.

"Why can't I adjust my springs like on your car?"

YUSSSS!!!!!

Reflashed the car to my e85 base map. Car had a 1/4 tank of 91 octane left in the tank so the most I could get up to was e60 for now. Winter blend goes up to 80 but the difference should be negligible given my small turbo. I did some cold startup testing and no issues so far. She starts up and drives just as well as before. Really looking forward to open loop tuning when I get some time.
