Tomato-cam picture :derp:

Put summer tires/wheels on, which I bought last winter from fellow RS member...

The wheels are an inch wider with lower offset than previous wheels i've been running, and the front rubs like a mofo when turning over bumps :okay:

Apart from raising the front a bit, how do I stop the rubbing? How do you guys drive lol

Rear fenders are rolled so those are fine.

Energy 02-24-2015 11:38 PM

A headlight polish would make a huge difference for your car.

inv4zn 02-24-2015 11:42 PM

Yeah it's been thoroughly neglected over the winter...gotta start bringing it back to shape.

Full ext/int detail, small fixes here and there, and yes, headlight polish :)

But the rubbingggggggg lol probably just gonna raise the front half an inch or so :okay:

fliptuner 02-24-2015 11:59 PM

Where's it rubbing? fender liner or the lip?

inv4zn 02-25-2015 12:10 AM

I'm going to assume the lip, because even at full lock the inside of the wheel has enough clearance from the fender liner.

Bonka 02-25-2015 01:18 AM

Straighten up your wheels and go slow on bumps/incline otherwise they'll bang the fender lip.

Saw your car on the street last time, the red bit on your rear H badge is awfully faded, any intentions of replacing it? Or do they not make metal red backing H badges anymore?

twitchyzero 02-25-2015 11:00 AM

the faded red H is actually kinda neat
builds character :toot:

Replaced my front brake pad sensor since it randomly popped out and tore the wiring triggering the light on the dash. Thank god it was such a simple fix.

I think the stock wing looks better tofu. Either way car is sick.
You will be happy to know the risers for my ltw get here this week. I caved.:fuckyea:

tofu1413 02-25-2015 01:32 PM

Run CF trunk and wingless...

Im not sure if the trunk is strong enough to run the stock wing... (stock wing weighs a ton, but very very functional. Makes a huge difference at 140+ )

LTW RISERS!!!!!!!!!!! :fuckyea:

underscore 02-25-2015 01:43 PM

Stock trunk + GT wing. Like you said, an Evo is the car to do it on.

rJZx 02-25-2015 01:47 PM

CF trunk on evo and voltec wing on the abarth :troll:

white rocket 02-25-2015 02:18 PM

Get a LOLtex. You only live once. I won't look out of place on your Evo at all. I kinda want one as well.
