Anyone else's Shaw internet down?

I am around Hastings and Nanaimo.

Ever since i have broadband 50, internet seems to have frequent intermittent downtime. (I also live near OP's area)

I'm in your area. Yes it was down. A simple call to shaw and you could've found it too lol. So far broadband 50 has only gone down 2x for me so I'm still satisfied.

Anybody currently down right now around coquitlam center?

mine is going on and off at the moment. Vancouver and joyce area.

I work about 2 blocks from coquitlam center and its down.

went down for 5 minutes.... tried to restart my modem and router 10000x. Richmond too btw so I am guessing this is happening to everyone in the lower mainland.... FUCK SHAW! :awwyeah:

i was fucking panicing and almost died..... 5 minutes of no internet :heckno:

yep internet has been cutting in and out here in Surrey (128th and 82nd avenue specifically)

Down as well.. was going on/off from 10:30 till now.

i wonder if i can get compensated for the duration of no connectivity. i use it for work and could not work. bill credit for wage x duration seems fair to me.

was down from 930-1030 around surrey (guilford)

Mine did this yesterday too. Port coquitlam area.

Called in, they told me they didnt see a problem.

Today I tried calling in, and I got a busy signal on the customer service line, WTF?

Mine came back up at about 11:30.

Highly doubt it. There's no SLA's for residential internet. As well a 1 hour downtime for home internet is not gonna net you any credits. Maybe if you really complain hard possibly.

Just checked my connection at home. Still up after the last downtime tuesday night.

I had this exact same argument with them a little under a year ago. I explained that they were charging me for a service they wernt actually prviding, and on top of that costing me money by being down.

Eventually they said I would see a credit on my bill. I hate to admit it, but I totally forgot to check If I actually did get it. Im sure it would have only amounted to a few bucks. Im betting the credit was never applied.

After that same discussion, I did cancel all my other services with them though. The customer service is so bad I just cant justify sepending any more money with them then I have to.

i live on east richmond went down at around 9:30am.. it was only down for an hour and half...

same area and it was pissing me off.
i was pwning in BF3 this morning and it was intermittent :okay:

i was in the middle of shooting someone and was like this :ilied:

then everyone was standing still like i got d/c'd playing something on a PC and i was like :fuuuuu::ohgodwhy:

I thought it was just me and my lame connection. Mine has been going on and off in the past few days. This has never happened to me before. I'm experiencing sudden disconnects and spikes (for like 10 second duration).

Anyone else still having issues?

My speed is still way down, and the connections drops intermittently.
Shaw is telling me the problem must be on my end as they can’t see any problems. I have tried a new router, still happening.

Shaw is sending someone out on Tuesday, but I still think the problem is on their end.

My internet is fine, but my TV is fucked.

In Calgary btw.

Works for 2 minutes and then doesn't the next. I'm gunna switch to another company now bye.

My connection has been pretty inconsistant today as well

No issues since the outage a few days ago.
