Seriously, how many people in this world need instant access to 4 kegs and 30 cases of beer at home? Do you party that much, and in that volume that a little pre-planning for a trip to the liquor store won't work for you?
I could see it if its wine. The true wine guys spend a small fortune on the collection, and it keeps...it can't be A bottle of whatever wine, it needs to be THIS bottle from this year.
^ when it comes men and beer we need a beer fridge for our man cave, having the biggest and most bad ass fridge is like being the popular kid in high school.
Im not a wine guy, they all taste the same to me, bitter and dry

Sonick is a genius. I won't go into detail what's so great about his post. But it's damn good!

Beer is beer.
If you can afford something like this you buy it for entertaining purposes and of course that would be nice to have tons of options for beer as well.
That's like saying a purse is a purse or why do you need 137 pairs of shoes. We get are small enjoyment from having different options and it's all about bragging as well.

Beer is beer.
My stance is completely opposite. In my limited experience with wine, I personally find the differences in wine not just from winery to winery but from varietal to varietal are MUCH more subtle compared to differences in beer from brewery to brewery and definitely from different types of brews.
But like I said, I have little experience in wine; though I do drink it I have never been able to compare and really contrast different types. Not that I have with beer either, just that beers can be so drastically different compared to wine.

Sometimes we tend to be in despair when the person we love leaves us, but the truth is, it's not our loss, but theirs, for they left the only person who couldn't give up on them.
Make the effort and take the risk..

beer wouldn't be the only thing I put in there to keep fresh

My cheap staple lately is Tree Brewing; Thirsty Beaver Amber Ale or Cutthroat Pale Ale. Very decent for the price, $2.15 for 500ml tallboy.
Think I'm gonna pick up some Czechvar after work today.

my cheap staple is rickards red and granville island pale ale. But i also enjoy leifmans fruitess and innis and gun, im a big fan of belgium and scottland beer
Cariboo Genuine Draft, it's $15 for a 12 pack; the flavour is light, malty and sweet, without tasting watered down like Budweiser. A number of my friends have tried it since I started drinking it, they all enjoy it as well. I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot. Cariboo is also brewed in British Columbia, by an independently owned brewery, who does charity work within the province, which is a nice upside to it tasting great.
For a number of years, my turn to beer was Granville Island English Bay Pale Ale. Not terribly expensive, but also not cheap and during a late night of studying I don't appreciate it any more than Cariboo.
I'm starting a Beer thread, there's a potential for a very good discussion on microbrews and beer in general, I think.

Hmm, this is in the green can, right? I just finished a 6 pack of it, and to be honest I wasn't a fan. Thought it was cloyingly sweet of corn sugar.
Honestly as hipster or cliche as it is, I don't think PBR is that bad for a cheap beer.
I've also tried the Bowen Island Lager for a cheap beer, that tasted like piss.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, I noticed the Red Racer White Ale is out.. It's the next step up from the Granville Island Robson St. Hefeweisen.
