It's the high gas taxes that's inflating the prices at the pump. Ridiculous taxes!

Everytime I see my cousins from Venezuela they just laugh at the prices that I'm paying. They pay on average TWELVE cents per litre in the capital city of Caracas.

That is criminal! No wonder my cousins see so many people driving SUVs everywhere. Jeep Grand Cherokee, Hummers, Escalades, you name it. Many people there drive them.

Nah, my cousins can have their cheap gas at twelve cents per litre all they want. It's not worth it for all the violent crime, shootings, robberies, kidnappings and 25% inflation in that country.

I'm working in Ontario right now and its 124.9 today! But sold car in Vancouver... sigh

Gridlock 05-11-2012 06:50 PM

how many more increases to the carbon tax are we going to have?

Fuck! That shit pisses me off. If I wanted a hippie dippy government intent on signing through life's pain and coming together in an organic drum circle while eating granola, I along with many other people would have voted green.

tonyzoomzoom 05-11-2012 07:36 PM

the analyst obviously forgot to factor in corporate greed.

LiquidTurbo 05-11-2012 07:42 PM

Gnomes 05-12-2012 05:01 AM

If only the people create a fuss and referendum against the carbon tax back then instead of the HST....

2damaxmr2 05-12-2012 01:36 PM

1.10 in Alberta.

hirevtuner 05-12-2012 02:55 PM

just filled up at point roberts: $1.25.9/L for premium

tofu1413 05-12-2012 03:14 PM

lol. jacking up carbon taxes so those CEO schmucks could get a bigger bonus year after year.

dont worry though, those schmucks are should get a price hike on services for them, just because we know they are ceo's of translink or w/e, just to let them have a taste of their own medicine. BS. all BS.

nns 05-12-2012 06:06 PM

I was just browsing street view on Google maps, and caught a picture of a gas station. 104.9 back in 2009. How far we've gone.

I remember when I was a kid and my parents would fill up at around $0.30/liter. This is back around 1994.

CL typeS 05-12-2012 08:03 PM

where do u guys fill up in point roberts? i know the first gas station you pass is a really ghetto one, then there is chevron and shell but their prices dont seem that much better

nns 05-12-2012 08:20 PM

LOL, I passed the first station you're referring to today for just about the same reasons. It didn't look trustworthy. I went into the Chevron. 122.9 vs 119 something at the offbrand gas station.
