Texaco - it's the same gas as Chevron, but about 3 cents cheaper/litre.

Drive a shittier car that sips gas?

Maybe not for you in particular, but as long as nobody's willing to switch to some other alternative, gas companies can just charge what they want cuz ppl will buy no matter what.

mercyboy 05-13-2012 12:23 AM

it's just getting to expensive to live in B.C pack the bags boys next stop ALBERTA :concentrate:

Lol can am, it's not that bad. But it's kind of pricey now...1.17. I usually just go down to the texaco which is just 2 more cents.

Fuck, I had to fill up in Vancouver on the weekend and pay your overtaxed mainland prices.

94 Octane in Victoria is the same price as 87 in Vancouver.

I remember when I was a kid and my parents would fill up at around $0.30/liter. This is back around 1994.

I think it was around 1998 when Arco tried to muscle in to Vancouver and caused a gas price war, and it went down to about 39¢/L.

Without going into to much detail, my work requires me to drive. Although my family is looking to replace my sister's car with something more economical, but we have yet to find one we can all agree on. If only the new 2012 civic drove like my dad's old 93 civic, would be on that shit so fast.

see.lai 05-14-2012 05:31 PM

gas is 148.0 in vancouver?!?!

tofu1413 05-14-2012 05:41 PM

Texaco for me. Same gas as Chevron, and they have a pretty good store... the beer selection there is awesome!

Also the lady is super nice. We chat for a bit before I go back, and I always get the free cup of coffee they give you when you fill up. :fullofwin:

Alatar 05-14-2012 10:11 PM

I've seriously been eyeing a Ruckus lately.

Splmash 05-14-2012 10:44 PM

Gas light was on and it was $55 to fill up half my tank (Camry). Seriously ... 135 to SFU for the rest of the summer.

Seriously? I went out around 2PM, all the stations by Wal-Mart/Sumas were at 138.x. Same deal when I was heading home around 8.

thegentleman 05-15-2012 05:44 AM
