if you run a business, then you know very well price differences from here and down south. it applies to EVERYTHING. US is bigger, LA alone = Canada. Larger population = larger # of consumers = larger buying power.

even shipping prices, from state to state is cheaper than our province to province.

it just mindblows me how one cant apply the same known knowledge and business model into other fields.

and you obviously dont know me well enough to just slap on the tag "blah blah blah, your an admin, blah blah blah"

oem pricing is, and has always been cheaper down south.

ur rant doesnt deserve merit because you are telling ppl to avoid a dealership on the fact they wanted to charge you retail?! they are doing their job. if they gave every joe blow a discount, word gets out to head office, they are fucked.

sign up on the volvo forums, get a discount thru the club by way of buying power by numbers. better yet, get to know someone that works there.

dealers have a fine window, after the car is out of warranty, before companies copy and make jobber parts available. of course they are going to charge retail!

i never delete unless its spam

did you get butt hurt? sorry if i didnt sugar coat the facts

let's just face the truth even OEM parts are cheaper down south, period.

if you feel that my rant does not deserve to be heard by anyone then delete it or ban me for this is probably the last you'll hear from me.
