Used the note 2 for about 2 to 3 months. While I like the big screen and all and the long battery life, decided to sell mine. Is too heavy at times and good bulky to carry around at times. I don't really use the S-pen anymore as I got the note 8 for taking notes in the office and school.
Might go for the S4 or HTC.
^thats how I felt about the note 2 after a little while. At first its so awesome but eventually it feels like a weight and a chore to use due to its size.
But overall its a great device, if you can get past the mass Posted via RS Mobile
can't drive with it in my pocket, but I get used to pulling it out before getting into my car. I would definitely get another 5"+ phone only if they make it smaller. I guess LG G2 would be a pocket-able device.
Anybody that's looking to sell their Note 2 should sell it before *Sept 20th (*Estimation) as they will get max value for it before the Note 3 is available.
Anyone have insight into how to Sim unlock the Note 2? I rooted the phone, but I am on Android 4.1.2. Can't seem to unlock using some of the tutorials online as they are for 4.1.1.
I bricked one phone already cause im dumb as fuck. I looked it up and it says that AT&T is the same as the rogers/bell/telus network, but I really dont trust myself.
Right now im running Cleanrom ACE 4.2.5 android version4.1.2

If you don't know what you are doing just stick with the orginal ROM..... Is not that slow.

The first time I bricked it was cause I flashed the wrong version. But once i got the right version it was all smooth sailing.
I reflashed new versions of CleanRom a few times with no issues, I just make sure I KNOW its compatible with my phone. Scottsroms.com makes it so easy cause he will post it in a section "Note 2 Rogers" so its a no brainer.
I wanna try the CM 10.2, try out the 4.3, I just wanna make sure that the AT&T version is compatable (LTE Enabled also) with Rogers phone.
How often do you guys use the stylus? Was it as useful as initially thought?
Deciding between an iPhone 5S and a Note 3. I can see the S Pen's usefulness, but I'm worried it'll just feel like a novelty in the end.

I honestly say I never use the stylus on my note2 other than my ex playing with the some apps that allows you to edited picturs (like those sticker pics you take). So honestly I can see the stylus was useless to me......

the cheapest way is to order the screen yourself and watch some youtube video online and fix it for her. Not only you help her save money but you also earn yourself some great points with her (if you want to date her that is.)
i removed the cracked screen off my note 2 by watching and following this video, step by step. Took me about 10-15 min. Didn't disassemble anything, just taped up the glass, heated it up and used guitar picks to lift and remove glass.
Now just waiting for the new screen to arrive from China...or HK. Should be getting it within the next week or so. I let you all know how it goes
