okay so i tried reverting back to 4.1.2 from 4.3 because of the battery drain issues, flashing it failed so i had to root my phone again in order to boot back into the phone. Is there anyway to boot back to 4.1.2??

just had to flash a 4.1.1 from 4.1.2 so I could unlock a friends phone
Only thing that worked for me is Odin, just find a stock rom, then you have to re flash twrp+root
such a pain in the ass tbh, took me like an hour and a half to flash 4.1.1, unlock, root, twrp, flash 4.1.2. Only cause there were small issues like twrp not installing, 4.1.1 being bitchy, etc.

what is twrp? I still have cwm on my phone right now and have 4.1.2 and 4.3 updates. The battery drain is slightly normal again I think, the main issue I have now is that KNOX does not work since I voided the warranty by rooting the phone and attempting to reflash the old update. Do you have step by step guide for twrp if that will help?
twrp is a different recovery but basically does the same as cwm.
this video is step by step how to root and flash stock images that has root built in. Using odin. Really not sure if having twrp or cwm will effect this install methed though
i installed this verson of 4.1.2 and was still able to get the official OTA update from samsung. After it updated, i lost root but wasn't a big deal to get it back. Since then, i wiped it out and now running slimbean 4.3.1

damnit.. nevermind, downgrading back to 4.1.2 is not available yet for canadian version note 2s yet i dont think. And i totally disabled the "KNOX" security for my phone. There is no way to get that feature back even with flashing stock rom. Samsung states, that it is impossible to clear the KNOX warranty counter back to 0x0
anyone else having battery drain issues with 4.3 update? phone drained down to 1% in less than 8 hours with same settings i had originally on 4.1
Ever since I updated to 4.3 my battery has been complete ass. Used to last 2 days of normal use, now I can barely go a day without a charge, and that's with not really using it. I'll try the wake lock app to see if maybe something is keeping it awake, but I don't really have anything installed since I factory reset before the update.

I got to the root problem that you can disable for now. Go to applications in settings, scroll to 'all' scroll down till you see google "google play services" click uninstall updates then disable, and force stop clear cache. It's their stupid Ass updates if you read ppl reviews in the play store. You just won't be able to sign into YouTube account and use some Google services for now but hey, you get the battery life back until those as Sholes update. Posted via RS Mobile

Don't try to root or re flash back to 4.1.2 either, you will disable "knox" and render it useless forever and your warranty like me lol. Posted via RS Mobile
