I know it excludes home games vs Calgary... but best source I could find off the top of my head.
But 6 goals of his 7 points, he definitely plays better vs Calgary.

definitely interesting if he gets moved and where he'll end up. i doubt the canucks are in the mix though even if its some sort of 3-way trade with a team that needs a goalie. with hamhuis/bieksa and edler/garrison rounding the top 4, i can't imagine PK being OK to be a 5-6 D-man. i also highly doubt we will move our top 4 to get PK but you never know!

possibly the Islanders for hamonic so he can get a long term contract and playing with tavares in the New york area

Philly could have the trade pieces to make an offer to Montreal. Detroit really needs a blueliner as well.

Even if he is shopped around, I'm sure the Habs asking price is high. Then some crazy GM is going to have to want to give him the crazy money and term that PK is asking for. So the GM will have to give up an asset or two and long term with big money. It would be less risky to just to sign him to an offersheet and see what the Habs do.

Why is Subban considered such a good D-man? He got 36 points last year which finished him 29th points over-all for a D-man?

I've never understood this. I know Montreal likes him because he's always on TV and seems like a cool guy outside of hockey, but hes barely top 30 in the league.

^ hes got a strong sense of entitlement..Read the interview that he had with the Montreal Gazette and right away you get the sense that this guy has a huge ego combined with a distorted view of himself. No way he's worth more than 4/4.5 million MAX!

Saying he's 1/2 on the Habs doesn't make him an elite dman shows more to their lack of solid depth

I don't see it posted in here yet but the Sharks signed Scott Gomez to a 1 year deal :lol. Did someone post this already? I skimmed through the last 5 pages and don't see anything about it.

Subban is awesome lol, I'd love to have a guy like that on my time. He has a great personality on and off the ice. The guy simply does not give a fuck.

Subban has a strong shot, pretty good defensively and pretty physical. Lots of potential but you don't get paid on potential.

He's like our version of Edler, we can see him being top 15 in the league but not there yet.

Also.. ~40 pts in his first two years is pretty impressive.. Look at Hedman, he's done nothing points wise in his first two years and he was supposed to be an offensive beast.

You could build a franchise around Subban. What he did in the playoffs in his rookie year was very impressive. Last year was in fact not a great year for him and maybe doesn't warrant a long term deal like he is asking for in the Doughty money range he is also asking for, but he will get it.

Doughty has the same agency representing him as Subban, so this will likely not be resolved until Subban gets a long term deal in the range he wants.

I could see gillis packaging ballard and lu to nab a guy like subban

Just because he isn't "that great" in fantasy doesn't mean he's useless.
He's in a good environment in Montreal, as long as he keeps himself in check, he's going to turn out fine. Edler went through something similar and floated around where Subban was during his last contract. Look at Edler now.

Seems like a unstated rule in the Canadiens organization. They like to give a short term contract prior to locking up their core players long term. Which is kind of how contracts were back in the days. You had to work for your big money long term contract. Not just given it to you right after your ELC.

as mentioned above we kinda have a set top 4 but that would mean maybe kb3 getting traded...
