Seattle arena plan has already been put out online. It can support a NHL & NBA team by 2015-2016. So if the Coyotes franchise fails to stay, its going to Seattle. Maybe they are just testing out Detriot & CBJ in eastern conference zone. Quebec city arena is going to happen and dont know about Toronto #2. Evenually they will be moved back possibly because of the Chicago rivalry. |

The top three teams in each division will make up the first 12 teams in the playoffs. The remaining four spots will be filled by the next two highest-placed finishers in each conference, based on regular-season points and regardless of division. It will be possible, then, for one division to send five teams to the postseason while the other sends three. The seeding of the wild-card teams within each divisional playoff will be determined on the basis of regular-season points. The division winner with the most points in the conference will be matched against the wild-card team with the fewest points; the division winner with the second-most points in the conference will play the wild-card team with the second fewest points. The teams finishing second and third in each division will play in the first round of the playoffs. The winners of each series will play for berths in the conference championship series. The winners of the conference championships advance to the Stanley Cup Final. |

You work for the media or something? How'd you dig out "our division" as malicious? They're not going to say, "...@VanCanucks are in Division A now, which we are also sharing the same Division." And are these the official division names? A, B, C, D? :seriously: |
A, B, C, D are not the official division names, they are just temporary. |
peace out Detroit :) |
Lol LA kings always sound like they are big time rivals with Canucks.. its so sad... they are like that geeky kid on the block that thinks hes your friend because you said hi to him once on the street, so now he tells everyone how hes chill with you. |

It is strange tho that the East has 16 teams and the West has 14 when they could have moved one team from the east and had it 15/15. Perhaps they are expecting an eastern team to move west? Florida? |

Only joke I see is their sarcasm of calling us their friend. And they're happy about it because we're basically "easy" opponents due to last playoffs. Geographically wise, I don't get it. Considering if anything, NW and Pacific combined to create "Div A", with them having 4 of the 7 teams. I must be reading way too much into this. :fulloffuck: |

so if the schedule remains similar to 2 game vs other conference teams (1 home, 1 road), 4 games against other division in conference teams (2 home, 2 road), and the rest against divisional teams. the canucks should play about 52 games at 7pm, 14 games at 5-6pm, and 16 games at 4pm |
