The irony.... What Kes said yesterday about possibly matching up with Couture "I’m not going to focus on their player. I’m going to make him focus on me." oh ok. |
the canucks are the hot girl on the wrong side of 30 that still thinks they are all that... Posted via RS Mobile |

The first few PP were almost a full 2 min inside the Canucks zone... Or, maybe not fully 2 mins, cause Couture scored in one of them. |
Kassian is a bust. That is all. |

Apparently Kesler was playing with an upset stomach, can anyone confirm? Posted via RS Mobile |
Honestly, a lot of us are shitting on Kassian tonight but I'm giving him a pass The penalty called on him was pretty soft; however, that penalty was like the beginning of the end for us, after that we lost all of our momentum; the second period was our best period played to begin with till that point Other than that he was "okay" |

Kassians penalty on the hit reminded me of the similar hit he made last year vs LA in the playoffs...which also led to a penalty :lol |

we practically got shut out tonight |

It's how they got dominated in everything (besides hits). It's about how Canucks have given the fans absolutely no reason to believe they can win the next game with tonight's performance. How a top seeded team that goes down 2-0 heading on the road is in one hell of a shit hole with no momentum. And how teams that go into the "Shark Tank" don't come out alive, considering the Sharks are 17-2-5 at home. Next game is "do or die"... pretty much. |

Derek Roy is the bolt on titty of a woman on the wrong side of 30, lets see him shine... |
Was at the game today and I think one of the main reasons they weren't able to generate much in terms of offense was their entry into the zone. The sharks plugged up the neutral zone with 4 men stood the canucks up at the blue line, forcing really weak tip ins with no forechecker coming in with speed. Also, their breakout is set-up like a wide "U" forcing players to either do a tip-dump into the zone or throw a suicide pass across the middle. The need more puck support in the middle and they can dump the puck cross ice into the zone with other forecheckers coming in with speed. Too often you would see the guy who tips it in trying to forecheck and chase down the puck. Obviously when you have to rush in from a stand-still, you're not going to get to the puck before the SJ defensemen who then promptly head mans it out of the zone. I really think some of it has to do with AV not adjusting to the SJ setup. |

In other news, Edler led all players in TOI with 27:50 and still came out a +1 |
Ebbett is like the coach's kid who sucks at hockey, but still gets ice time because he's his son. I swear to god, he must lose every puck battle. |
