And yea, we need to keep Luongo. We'll probably get a bag of pucks for him in return. He still has atleast 3 seasons left in him. Whereas if we trade Schnieder we can get a higher return for the final push before we enter rebuilding time..
Imagine if Gillis changes his mind and decides to keep Luongo and trade Schneider instead. In that case, Lu and his wife jumped the gun in putting their Yaletown penthouse for sale at $4.2 million. :D

i'm in for removing av first than gutting the team...i like av and know he'll do good elsewhere but the fact that he can't motivate the group anymore makes him the choice...

Maybe... but AV had limited players to work with. I see Gillis fucking up more than AV has, besides as a fan i believe Gillis have too much loyalty towards our current players.

AV will get hired much faster as a coach than Gillis would as GM

Gillis got no guts! AV is a good coach shouldn't be fired. Shoulda traded Cory didn't! No one wants Luongo's contract.

I don't think anyone is saying he's a bad coach, it's just that it's time for a new voice. The message just doesn't seem to be getting through anymore. Look at Lindy Ruff, no one is calling him a bad coach, but he was in Buffalo for a long time and a new voice was needed. Hell, even Scotty Bowman was fired and he still went on to win more cups.

Raymond probably going to get min $3 million elsewhere. 20-25 goal scorer like him and kills penalties. Some team is going to overpay.

I would call him a bad coach. A coachs job is to motivate his team. To help escalate them to that next level. He has never done that. He has never changed the teams style of play. He wont use time outs, he wont pull struggling goalies, he makes the team sit on shitty 1 goal leads. What part of this makes him a good coach? Anyone can succeed in the regular season where making top 8 is all you need to do and play in a weak division. The sedins used to be the scoring leaders. Where were they this year? Hardly a factor. Look at the other top teams. Multiple lines sharing scoring. Us? 1st line with all the points.
