This. Looks like you'd be shivering spending any time in there. If you had that much money to blow on a property like this might as well put in a bit more to doze the place and rebuild, I saw some nice properties up by the Chippendale and Folkestone intersection that look more comfortable.

asian_XL 06-26-2012 09:16 PM

cozy? don't be kidding. You expect this is for someone who drives back and forth to work, then spend a night with his family? If you want cozy, a two bedroom is what you need :)

but to be honest, 34million isn't really that expensive for a palace like this. I bet you can't find more than 20 of this type of house in west coast canada

drunkrussian 06-26-2012 09:19 PM

the pictures never show these houses in the rain. it's always sun or a nice calm night sky.

Harvey Specter 06-26-2012 09:31 PM

I agree with this comment;

"No thanks, I'll take a 12 bedroom in Beverly Hills next to Britney Spears where it doesn't rain for 9 month out of the year for 10 mill"

You could probably buy a similar piece of land, and just build a nicer place for much less.

elwell 06-26-2012 09:37 PM

Yeah you can get a mansion or some crazy shit like Vince Chase for under 10 mill in california. On the other note, how doe this place looks like when it snows

TRDood 06-26-2012 09:52 PM

Pictures always looks 1000x more magnificant. I don't understand why people have sofas outside when it rains 10 months here in Vancouver.

Ideology 06-26-2012 11:16 PM

Why u sharing pictures of my house OP? :concentrate:

yray 06-26-2012 11:30 PM

creepy as fuck during a storm, don't think any girl will be comfortable sleeping there LOL

Lol so true or people who build outdoor pools.

Vancouver is a beautiful city but the homes are way overpriced. If I had $30+ million to spend on a home I think Vancouver would be at the bottom of my list.

You honestly think that someone who has 34 mil to drop on a pad doesn't have more than a few deca-million dollar properties?

We're talking the ultra rich here. This is a drop in the ocean for whoever is buying it. It's not gonna be on a mortgage.

This is their view from the master bedroom deck, it's not as tranquil as the water front but it would be decent to wake up to :p

That's about all I can share, if you drive up folkstone way to the top its the house still under construction, probably the nicest looking house up there as of now, crazy fuckin decks

RicePanda 06-27-2012 09:16 AM

Look at all that extra space around the furniture! Imagine all the activities we could do! :ahwow:

Gumby 06-27-2012 09:19 AM

And here I am, trying to fit everything I need into a 33x122 lot... :okay:

teggy604 06-27-2012 10:00 AM

thats a nice garage for the yacht. I wonder what the "man cave" looks like. maybe a special elevator you drive on to, then lowers down to the garage.

zetazeta 06-27-2012 10:50 AM

I used to work at a construction/marble company that did quite a few projects with Russell Hollingsworth. All of the houses he designs and builds are very expensive and extravagant.

The one with the sweeping curved deck and what looks like a new hot tub on it? Thought I think I only saw one under construction still so that must be it.

Hondaracer 06-27-2012 11:52 AM

^ it's right behind the mailboxes at the top Of folkstone way, it's brown and has 3 decks on each level of the house, I believe the right side is still wrapped in a tarp, I may have a recent picture at home

If it's the one with a hot tub facing the front, on the corner, we've both worked on that masterpiece. I knew that view was familiar.

UFO 06-27-2012 01:04 PM

would 20M be considered a RS lowball offer?

Yea the hot tub/lap pool to the right side when you step out the back doors?

Yup, that's definitely the one.

My friend and I had a long discussion on the placement of the hot tub; you can enjoy the view while sitting in it, but can't fuck in it without neighbors enjoying a view of you.
