Or do you play off opponents?... how does it sim?... is there a webpage I can read details on how this Online Be a GM works?

What do you mean "if the user is on" ... so like... if I just so happen to be playing NHL13 (another mode) and a notification will pop up telling me another GM is challenging me to play? Does it go by schedule too?

i think it goes by schedule.. so if the team you schedule you play (i.e. columbus) and no user has them as their team then you can either play the CPU or just simply simulate the game.
right now, i'm scheduled to play Detroit and I guess I have to wait for that user to be online to play him/her... so that could take some time lol
and J-chow.. ya, those are the IDs i believe.. thanks man..
