For me, I need a minimum of 85 agility and 88 endurance for all player types. I like making tight turns. I see that you don't max out your discipline? I hear it reduces the chances of getting penalties eh.
Depends on the type of penalty.
Higher stick lifting decreases the chances you'll get a tripping, hooking, or slashing penalty from stick checking or stick lifting. Discipline has no effect on these penalties.
Adding points in discipline will reduce the likelihood of getting a penalty when body checking or if you bump the goalie.

Didn't know about that. Thanks man.

I thought it reduced everything but tripping, since I very rarely use stick lift, I didn't bother putting any points onto it. If you're going to trip someone, it doesn't matter if you have it maxed out or not, not going to prevent that

I'm giving all other teams until march 15th to finish their playoff games. If you don't know who you are playing, just add the player in the gm members list. On the 16th, I will be simming for the next round.

I was playing TRD's AI in the first round and then I injured one of his players in Game 2 so his Roster was messed up, was forced to sim the rest of the round and lost LOL!

I wouldn't get your hopes up. I play tested NHL 14 at EA recently. Not much has changed. I gave them a bunch of suggestions about what was wrong with this years game and how they can fix that for next year. I'm not counting on them fixing any of the things that I brought up.
They would probably minimize the changes for the ps3 version of nhl 14 (probably fix up GMC bugs, etc) and just an extra animation and then just focus on the PS4 version (nhl 15?) lol

NHL 14 would be pre-alpha at this stage, so it would still basically be the same as the previous game, but trying out a few minor things. Usually they have the alpha build in May (which would integrate new physics, graphics, etc. and is usually very, very rough) and beta build in July.

EA's CEO steps down, about fuckin time, maybe they will get someone who isn't a fuckin greedy motherfucker. EA really needs to have 2 year development cycles so we don't get the same recycled garbage games with a few additions. Take the time to properly develop a game and test it out. This years NHL is garbage, too much ice tilt and random BS.
I liked day 1 NHL 13 more than any of the patched versions. There was more randomness to the goals going in which encouraged players to try a variety of different shots. I even recall them taking pride in this new addition.
Then next thing you know they patch it and all the random goals are gone. Like wtf?!? Posted via RS Mobile

EA simply needs to focus on solid CORE gameplay and then branch out once they have that. EA simply tries to do more than time and allocated resources allow (and they allocate NOWHERE near enough resources for most, if not all, of their projects), releases games before they're ready, doesn't provide enough support for their games, and doesn't communicate effectively with their customers.
If they streamlined their operations, focused more on gameplay instead of gimmicks, and allocated more resources, they could easily release a high-quality NHL annually without a problem.

I heard Larry Probst is back as CEO or at least intern CEO ... he was the ultra christian guy who would have issues with EA making M rated games before ... just feels like a WWE match and they just tag each other back into the ring ... John took over when Larry stepped down and now its the other way around ...

It's pretty early right now, they'll probably change it up. I play tested NHL 13 in june, they completely revamped the game and added in the new skating engine within like 3 months of release. 100% they didn't take enough time developing physics and the skating engine since they introduced it so late.
And yeah they probably won't listen to your suggestions. They had me making replays of recreating glitch goals that have high accuracy. I recorded 7 seperate glitch goals, 3 replays of each in different scenario's and the only one they ended up patching was the one timer lol
All in all I was not excited for NHL 13 at all after playing it for a couple of days. I loved NHL 12, I felt like they tore out the soul of the game by letting new players have a chance against veterans. I have big hopes for nhl 14 though. I hope they go back to the better player wins.

All I want is for the better team to win, when you're dominating a team, there should be no way that you should be able to lose especially when your team is cycling, making good plays and taking quality shots. The shitty teams totally get bailed out and assisted this year, you'll totally dominate a team then they come down and shoot an ugly shot that has no possible way of going in but it will and it just fucks you over. I hate this crap. That and make the damn AI even for both teams. I can't count how many times my teams AI will play like garbage but the other teams AI is like Legend 3 with the puck glued to their stick
