you can only sell one device but the buyer can keep buying apps/services. make 0$ on machine, after that its all profit.
same as free online games.

same as free online games. | Yeah, I think this is what Google Play was built for over the past year or so. Renting movies for $4-5 a pop and selling e-books, they'll definitely make some profit

wow had to re-read everything after the merge... Quote:

I'm just curious what other people's situations are like. I know I run into storage problems on my 16gb iPad all the time, so maybe tablets are different | 16gb is nowhere enough for my tf101. When I'm on vacation, I move the photos from my camera to the tablet right away so I can view/edit them or show them to whoever I'm with. I have tons of books and comics on there that take up at least 8gb alone. After I include movies, I'm maxed out. I don't even have any music on there.
I think my apps alone use up about 2-3gb. 8gb will definitely not be enough for me.. Having a card is also easier for me to transfer stuff from my mac. Tried with the tf101 but it was pretty difficult/time consuming.
My phone on the other hand has probably 2 or 4gb. Can't remember but it doesn't really matter. I use it as a phone and that's pretty much it.

I'm just curious what other people's situations are like. I know I run into storage problems on my 16gb iPad all the time, so maybe tablets are different | after OS and what not you are probably left with less than 6GB. Load up a HD video or two after having some apps and you are already out of space...which can be frustrating when you know you have a spare $30 32GB SD card just lying around. Quote:

WTF! No flash!
I understand that they want to push HTML 5 but most sites are still using flash for their video streaming so this is a big no for me Quote:
In November Adobe stated that “We will no longer continue to develop Flash Player in the browser to work with new mobile device configurations (chipset, browser, OS version, etc.) following the upcoming release of Flash Player 11.1 for Android and BlackBerry PlayBook. We will of course continue to provide critical bug fixes and security updates for existing device configurations.” This direction is leading them towards HTML5 for mobile.
Truth is setting in today as Adobe posted a note on their company blog that confirmed Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will not have Flash Player support, plus declared that effective August 15th they will pull the app from Google Play. “Beginning August 15th we will use the configuration settings in the Google Play Store to limit continued access to Flash Player updates to only those devices that have Flash Player already installed.”
Regarding 4.1, Adobe says they have not tested or completed the certification process and confirmed that “there will be no certified implementations of Flash Player for Android 4.1.” A complete list of certified Android devices that support Flash has been posted on their site, but Adobe notes that if any of these get upgraded to OS 4.1 Jelly Bean you might experience “exhibit unpredictable behavior” and they reiterate that “future updates to Flash Player will not work,” thus “we recommend uninstalling Flash Player on devices which have been upgraded to Android 4.1.” Boom.

edit: woops didn't see your post above me

I don't even know what their strategic reasoning is behind this... I doesn't make any sense for them to drop out of it.

just ordered the 8gig one. Ended up being 254.07 after shipping and tax. Not too bad. Ive had the galaxy nexus for a while, and love it. Been wanting a tablet but the cost for anything decent was too much. Couldnt pass this up.
