*** Lost/stolen wallet ***
 

Wallet fell out of my pocket and onto the bench I was sitting on about an hour (~5:450PM) ago, right in front of Chapters inside of Metrotown. If anyone on here picked up a black Hugo Boss tri-fold wallet knows who has it and can get me my wallet back, I will give you a cash reward. I don't care as much about the stuff inside the wallet than I do about the wallet itself as it holds much sentimental value.

Reported it and left my contact info with customer service and security. Came home and cancelled all my cards. Still waiting on the good word if it'll ever come...

what an asshole,this asian lady in her early 30s dropped 35 dollars in fives & tens outside a store she was walking into on top level, i had to rush in & give it to her..

she thanked me and smiled...i was just glad i could return it. /feelsgoodman :alonehappy: .

the one time i left my wallet at a restaurant, an elderly gentleman found it. he couldn't find a contact number or anything but he did notice my school's name on a student ID. he called the school, the school called me, and I got my wallet back with nothing missing whatsoever!

you can also check with your credit card company to see if anyone tried to use any of your credit cards. just to see if it was actually found.

Got a call from the customer service desk about a half hour ago with good news. Wallet was turned in with everything intact except the money but that's OK, since I would've given them all the money in there anyways.

Glad you got the wallet back! I've heard many cases myself of people losing things at Metro and never hearing word from it being found again.

Some people would just empty out the money and ditch the wallet. They don't want to get in shit so they just dump the wallet somewhere. Nice OP, can you reactivate the cards you cancelled?

WOW I get to tell a story that happened to me! I walk into a starbucks washroom as some Chinese lady walks out, i see a wallet on the TP rack. I pick it up and its stuffed w/ 20's i see probably about 2 hundred some odd dollars plus mega crdeit cards. I go back out and the lady was looking through her stroller for her wallet i said "hey you lost this i presume? :)" She says......... "oh!! takes it and walks teh fuck off like NOTHING!! Thats it! I say " WHAT... YOU CAN'T SAY THANK YOU? SHE IGNORED ME AND WALKED OUT THE DOOR! UN-FUCKING-BELIVABLE.I'd like to spit in her face!~ Of course i wouldn't though.

^^yep similar thing happened to me before, I found a wallet outside the supermarket near happy date in richmond, it was near the fruit stands. It was stuffed full of 100's, I would estimate around 2000 or more!

I looked at the id and its owner was a senior person. So i looked around and didnt see anyone who looked like him. I walked into the supermarket hoping to find him and I did see someone looking like him. I asked what his name was and it matched so I returned his wallet.

Turned out one of the employees was like "he was the owner of the place and owned a few supermarkets". In the end he didnt even say thanks and just said "oh so you found my wallet, I should make sure i keep it safer next time." Some people are just ungrateful as fuck
