bee hive surprise

so i walked into my storage room and noticed a bunch of bees flying around and found this on the roof...

http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/8...0717185147.jpg

the storage room itself is just one of those small outdoor wooden storage rooms that u usually find at the backyard of townhouses so i could just easily grab a stool and stand on top of it to reach the roof

i found this about half an hour ago, my plan was to just throw on a puffy jacket, track pants, grab one of my track helmets, and stick my go pro on the side and deal with it.. but hey on second thought maybe the rs extermination crew would have some other cool ideas... haven't thought of anything yet besides just gearing up and putting on some thick hand gloves, and just zerg rush the fucker and pull it right out of the roof and dunk it into a bucket of boiling water... i actually want to do some gasoline + fire but fire is out of this equation for sure just because i dont have a bbq pit or anything where i could throw it on + its located on a small ass townhouse backyard so neighbors might call in the fire dept on my ass lol

so lets get some brainstorming going on here and i'll post up a follow up vid of some action afterwards lol

if youre seriously going to do it, grab a bee suit. they can get into all sorts of openings in your current outfit plan.

honestly, I would try to relocate it in a tree or some structure nearby?

Renthal 07-17-2012 06:36 PM

grab the bees nest, toss in a freezer… wait till bee's get really really cold and slow… tie strings to them like leashes.. go for walks with bee's on a string! :fullofwin:

Its RS, we don't give tips for safety and shit.

Get a big aersol can and build a flamethrower

lilaznviper 07-17-2012 06:38 PM

might want to ask a company to come in to take it off for you

you! 07-17-2012 06:39 PM

fuck other companies n shit lol wheres the fun in that?

murd0c 07-17-2012 06:40 PM

Go steal a honey badger from the closest zoo where one is located and It would fuck the bee's up!!!

smaggs 07-17-2012 06:41 PM

Whateever you do, make sure you film it

you! 07-17-2012 06:42 PM

right now i would say that the hive is about the size of a basketball

MindBomber 07-17-2012 06:43 PM

If those are honey bees, it's illegal and unethical to try and kill them. Local bee keepers will often remove a honey bee nest free.

wasnt a honey bee hive for sure otherwise there would have been obvious signs of honey combs around it... i'm think this is actually wasps because these r the kinds of flyers i saw coming in and out of the hive:

where if it was a honey bee hive i would have seen these instead:

please stay safe op

MindBomber 07-17-2012 07:00 PM

I was leaning towards them being wasps but couldn't tell from the small picture on my mobile screen, so I just wanted to mention that.

T4RAWR 07-17-2012 07:06 PM

done this before.

get a garbage bag, heavy duty contractor garbage bag (3 mil)

creep up on the nest really slowly, grab the nest with the bag and twist the bag closed fast.

run the hell out of the storage shed with nest in bag. throw into a chest freezer.

StylinRed 07-17-2012 07:08 PM

garbage can underneath knock it into it close the lid for a bit until they settle down

then leave it for the garbage man :troll:

or just pour liquid nitrogen into it

SoulCrusher 07-17-2012 07:09 PM

Im sure if you get in touch with a local honey bee keeper theyll tell you if their honey bees or something else. If they are bees, try to relocate them or have a keeper pick them up. Destroying a bee hive would be immature and moronic

Lomac 07-17-2012 07:14 PM

Last time I did this, I grabbed a can of aerosol expanding insulation foam, waiting 'till it was night out, and filled up all the openings I could find.

Probably not the smartest idea I've ever had, but I hate wasps and I was slightly drunk at the time... :lol

You can buy a can of wasp-killing foam at home depot, just get one of them and go crazy.

Or the other fun way would be to get a hold of some fireworks and shove em in there.

PornMaster 07-17-2012 07:18 PM

I never knew RS had such a big vag for honey bees

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

after they froze i just tossed it in the trash.

it was a wasps nest in one of my cedar hedges.

BossFrancis 07-17-2012 07:22 PM

Get a vacuum and get them all in there. Pour some gas inside the vacuum and shake it around everywhere. When they fly out, hold a lighter right there and watch them burnnn.

Shorn 07-17-2012 07:24 PM

^ wtf and blow up your vacuum? sucking IN burning gas into more gas.. :fulloffuck:

honestly.. i fucking hate bees.
i would just burn down the whole storage room :fuckthatshit:

but yes in for video
