Sometimes we tend to be in despair when the person we love leaves us, but the truth is, it's not our loss, but theirs, for they left the only person who couldn't give up on them.
Make the effort and take the risk..

i love olympics time. theres always something to watch and theres a buzz in the air, it wont be like 2010 obviously but its still a fantastic time. its nice being about to turn the TV on and see coverage for a few weeks.
i still get a warm feeling thinking back to 2010 watching the 11pm news (or was it 10pm olympic news?) and seeing the results for the day. man that was a good time.
sucks how most events start in the middle of the night and are over by mid afternoon for us tho.

beach volleyball, holy crap, how the hell did I forget about that? Tanned bodies stretching, diving, leaning over, legs apart with hands up in air, and..............
actually, it gets boring after a while.
Boxing used to be good, but officiating kind of killed it for me.
I used to love the olympics, but when you never watch live TV anymore, it's not quite the same.
I hope people rip more events and post them in full HD. I would really like to check them out. I love gymnastics, those people are amazing. Would like to watch more of the combat sports too, like judo and wrestling.

Other than the kick off event by Coca Cola at Canada Place last Fri/Sat,
does anyone know if theres any other London 2012 related events happening locally in Vancouver?
^ That's the British for you. They did the same thing at the Commonwealth games too. There was that one athlete who finished way back for Canada and his fans were cheering him on for putting in a good effort, and some ass clown British reporter was criticizing us for cheering someone who didn't even make the podium.
