Officially it's 12 people dead, 59 injured per CNN.

Of the injured, 30 still in hospital, of which 11 are in still in critical condition.

Should definitely wait... I still remember watching The Dark Knight and these two guys were about to start a fight over a seat cause the theatre was packed and I guess that guy couldn't find a seat or something.
