Story sounds kinda fishy. Who just leaves such a expensive violin in their backset and let alone going into Apple to buy a macbook and come out just to put it in your car. Lv bag? LOL shouldn't you be using that shit If your gonna go shopping. Idk maybe she was just claiming all these things. Well That is just my opinion Ahas

Which is more reason to not leave it anywhere other than by your hip, so to speak.

Would you leave your first born unattended in a car while you go into a 7/11?

Actually, people have done that too..........

Let's hope it turns up. Stupid (understatement) as she was, it's a sad story.

My 60th anniversary fender strat comes with me two places, to the jam space, and home, neither of which it sits in the car for 1 second longer than I do, and honestly, it isn't worth anything.....yet. Thats why this whole thing doesn't make one fucking ounce of sense. I don't bring it for car rides while I go shop.

Who brings a violin worth 50 grand to Metrotown? :failed:

Other items stolen include a $3,000 bow to play the violin, a couple of brand new laptop computers, an iPhone and a Louis Vuitton bag.

Never ever leave valuables in your car, even in a locked trunk.

"if only there were some way to break this glass....I know! I'll use anything!"

good god. that motherfucking violin woulda been handcuffed to my cock.

Acura604 08-07-2012 07:36 AM

Metrotown also has some sneaky-ass thieves... who knows? perhaps they were 'watching' the apple store, waiting for people to come out with purchased goods and then followed them to their car discretely...and bam! looks like they hit the jackpot.

MrGoodbar 08-07-2012 07:45 AM

My friend had a signal light stolen from one side of his car and it was parked right beside the door in P1 where there is more traffic than most parts of the underground parking. Thieves won't stop at stealing anything at any random time.

Soon metrotown parking will have half their spaces filled with bait cars.

"A three tousand dollar bow, and white and tan coloured Louis Vuitton bag were also stolen."

doesn't anybody proof read anymore?

i know im bad but for some reason after reading that, i re-read it with an asian accent lol

BrRsn 08-07-2012 02:09 PM

lol. It's not about hating people for having nice things. It's about pointing out stupidity. Everyone knows someone who has had shit stolen at metrotown parking lot.

I leave nice things in the car too, the only difference is I either put everything in the trunk and lock the trunk (from the inside, and the outside) so no one can open it by smashing a window, and I make sure I'm not gonna be away for too long. OR if I'm driving my SUV I take everything with me because there's no secure place for it. Common sense goes a long way.
