They don't really enforce fines though, they don't have any way of knowing which cars belong to residents and which do not unless they go to doors and knock on them. |

If you park on the street where it says no parking except for residents, then you get fines. I see tow truck drivers and people going around checking. They check your license plate and if it's not registered for the block/street, they can ticket you. However parking in drive-ways /garages, they can't enforce that because it's private property. Plus hard to prove that it's not your friend coming over etc. |
Anyone got ride passes? I want to purchase two for tomorrow. |
it was dead early this morning, but its picking up since the sun is out now |
Just a reminder that free admission day is tomorrow from 9am to noon. VanCity day (August 22) is on Wednesday, where VanCity members and a guest can buy admission for $5!! |
pne seems to be dead now. compared to 5 years ago |
uhh it just opened up like a day ago |
are free admission mornings usually packed? I might go just to get the stamp and re-enter later in the day after work |
Whats the difference between gate pass and ride pass? Do I have to buy both or can I just buy ride passes |
gate pass get you into the pne. ride pass is for going on the rides in playland. you can't just buy a ride pass |
What so $50 regular price to get in? I haven't gone in so long..... |
$15 just to get in and $45 for the rides or something like that. If you want to know the prices go to the PNE website. |
Disneyland, DisneyWorld and Vegas makes PNE look like...:fuckthatshit: |
$20-$30 for parking $20 for gate pass ($15 if bought online) $42 for ride pass (cheaper online) :fuckthatshit: ride pass is $30 after 5pm prices if you use discount code online http://i.imgur.com/iZ8YD.png |
I haven't been to pne in ages. Did they jack up the ride and gate prices? I could have sworn that it was $25 for the ride and $10 for the gate last time I went :lol |
free gate admission for the next 21 mins. gogogo |
Its $60 per person for gate pass+ride pass+parking BEFORE you even go in and start spending money. HOLY |

Paying for parking is for suckers. There's plenty of parking in Burnaby, just on the other side of Boundary Road and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the fair grounds. Or there's always the bus... I don't know about anyone else in their 30s, but my stomach can't handle most of the rides these days. The only ride worth going on at least once is the original Coaster. I don't mind paying 10 bucks to get my Coaster fix for the year. |
Isn't there some kind of "loophole" to get in through the back gates for free with a horse race gambling membership card. I borrowed a friend's card to get in like that before in the past, but I don't have one myself so I'm not too familiar about this. It was a yellow card. Maybe someone else knows more about it. But it's not a honest way to get in though. And I went yesterday and just parked around Hastings Community Elementary school. Free parking on the street surrounding the school during non-school hours. And there was a lot of parking available there. |
