All the people who offer parking at their house were doing it for $10 on Tuesday, although the woman I went with didn't speak a lick of English and I parked further away then I wanted when she hopped in truck lol

Holy crap, I didnt realize parking has 12% HST on top of the 21% parking tax for a total of 35.5%.

It may be a bit too late those with car2go (there are promotions out there with free registration + free 30 minutes) can totally take advantage of the 'resident parking permit only' signs.

We had stuff from 2 places too. The brisket at Prairie Smoke and Spice was awesome. The ribs and pulled pork 2 stands to the left was ok, easily on par with Memphis Blues IMO. Sampled pulled pork from 2 other stands and they were ok as well, but nothing really stood out as much as the amazing brisket mentioned above.

Just came back from the PNE. The motocross show at 730 was AWESOME. They had dirt bikes, sportbikes, ATV, and snowmobile.

I Got lucky with free parking today. Arrived at 6:05pm and parked on Hastings. No parking from 3pm-6pm Mon-Fri but free otherwise.

My wife and I went tonight. We got there around 6:30, and I found a parking spot, right away, at the school on Slocan. We just walked around and ate a lot food, and took in all the sights. Good times.

Went today, it was surprisingly not as crowded for a weekend crowd. Even the lineup for the lottery home was not long. I liked the house. Some vanity structures of the house looked cheap (although it was probably there in replacement of the genuine articles to avoid damage from the crowds).

Watched colbie caillat gavin degraw since the gf likes colbie. I actually liked the colbie portion better. It seems like the summer night concerts have more popular bands now (or acts that were popular). OLP, Nick Carter, Lifehouse, Hanson.

Watched the Peking Acrobats. Never really watched an old school acrobatic show like that live before. I thoroughly enjoyed that.

Yes, I found free parking as well around the school a block off Hastings.

I wasn't impressed by the lottery home at all......It was very cramped....not much space, but had too big furniture...and the house in general was very meh....

I felt that the "private patio" in the master bedroom is not very private if there's a staircase leading up/down it. I understand it's an exit route and really hope that the new owners would have the option of not putting it on.

Electric fireplace?

it's a resort type home you go to in the winter, not a year round living house, which is why it is situated at sun peaks..

It has to be an electric fireplace because sunpeaks doesn't have natural gas lines so the only gas they can get is propane so since electricity is available they went with electric.

Went yesterday, food was great albeit pricey but a good experience overall.. I was about eleven years old the last time I went to The Fair My girlfriend and I managed to catch the last Peking Acrobats performance of the day, and man I was not disappointed.

One of the best segments.

This guy didn't stop there...

So a real frugal Asian would go to the track and scrounge around for horse racing cards, LOLOLOL.

Probably not that easy, but meh, the freebie day's good enough for me.
