Those people who want you to park at their house... Had to dodge one of them as my car approached and she started walking into the street. |

Most, if not all games require knowledge on the hidden trick behind beating them.
Then once you figure that out, you still need quite a bit of practice.
Practice that staff had access to of course, which is why they can demo it to you.
But once it's your turn, you always lose and your practices costs you $3-5 each time.
Best is if you used to work at PNE, knowing all the tricks, and then go back and own all the games.
But then again, the prizes kind of suck anyway, so I'm not sure why so many people even bother.
I guess it's just for the sake of winning. Cause I sure as hell don't want a stuff animal, especially those kind.
It's like those big prizes is a HUGE stuff animal. Great, so where the hell am I going to put this in my house now.

^oh yeah... build quality of them are crap. And I think many of them are stuffed with that material
(not sure what it's called) but once you squish it or bend it, it actually damages whatever's inside.
It feels like it's some kind of styrofoam-ish material instead of the standard "fluff"/cotton in plushes.
I don't know how else to explain it... lol

I think it's pretty well done for what it is.
There's a few pic opportunities but those cost $ might be worth it if you're really into it though... the bridge of the NCC1701D from Next Generation is recreated so you can go solo in the captain's chair for a pic or if you have a bunch of friends can man the different posts haha
Gift store afterwards is lame... $10 for flimsy rubber spock ears? No thanks.

Went Monday with the family. Agree the Star Trek exhibit is good if you are a fan of the show. Wasn't as busy as I expected it to be considering it was free admission. Spent far too much $$$ on ribs and pulled pork - made the ride passes seem cheap. Didn't bother with any of the games as they're not my thing. Took a big crap this morning and had a ring of fire. Serves me right.
The real entertainment was watching the fight between my wife, her friend and both of their moms with two other ladies and a man over a picnic table. These other ladies were telling my wife that they had a reservation for the table and they had to leave. They actually claimed they get to use the table for the whole day and they paid for it. I finally got sick and asked the first lady (the "boss") if she had a receipt or piece of paper to prove she had the table reserved. She actually tells me she has a receipt but forgot it in her car. So I said if she wants to go get it and bring it back then we'll move. Until then, we're staying put. And that was pretty much the end of the argument. A short while later the rest of their family shows up apparently expecting a "reserved" table.
The stuff people will try to pull.
