Top Of Vancouver is the official name I believe (harbour center)
and the other one is cloud 9...

Go for the ambiance, not the food

Lol best if you get the window seats on the upper floor. Still a nice place to eat but it's pretty $$$. It's the place that started it all for me an my gf though :)

Provence Marinaside (the False Creek location)
Bacchus
Le Gavroche

I don't know how one would consider Boathouse romantic - noisy, expensive and a mediocre menu at best.

Impress her with a homemade picnic at a place with a nice view.
Cheaper than eating out, too.

Don't go out to fancy ass places to eat for any reason that involve "impressing" a girl... only go if you're both really interested in trying the food there... otherwise you're just setting some fuckin high ass bar of expectation you gotta meet and/or surpass all the time.

She's gonna want you because of who you are, not what you provide her... and if she doesn't, just do enough to f&c her. Take it from someone who's old and made the same mistakes you're gonna make!

*edit: the home-made picnic people are the ones who know what's up.

She's gonna want you because of whats in your wallet and how you provide her... and if she doesn't, just do enough to f&c her. Take it from someone who's old and made the same mistakes you're gonna make!

IF you want an actual restaurant, I'd suggest The Observatory up on Grouse.

Otherwise +20 to the picnic idea

Horizons near SFU.
They have a 3 course deal for $30 per person, this month.
