4 Year Old Pianist Genius

This was posted in the NSFW thread by ursher.. however, probably worth a post in here.

This kid would make High Expectations Asian Father very, VERY proud. In fact, I believe he may be filming the video!

seems like the dad was offering the kids 5000 points for first part of the song and 7000 points for the second part. seem like the kid was very excited by this reward. maybe every 1000 points can be traded for 10 seconds of tv time.

This is the life of asian kids (Hong Kong in particular) nowaday. I feel sorry for them all.

School every fucking day.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - English tutorial class
Tuesday, Thursday - Art class
Saturday morning - Piano class; Saturday afternoon - Math tutorial class
Sunday will be all day studying for next week material.

Then kids get to play with their parent's ipad for 1 hour if they score 100 in the exams

Haha yes I noticed that too. I wonder what the points get them.

When I was a kid I would get a new small Jurassic Park dinosaur every time I memorized a new number of the multiplication table.

Well that's how they stay ahead. Unlike United States kids who just sit there watch TV eat junk food and get fat then complain that they can't even get a job at Burger King.......

Pointless if you ask me. All this "competition" is just stupid, and for what? just so you can be a year or 2 ahead of someone. By the time we are 45 we'll pretty much all be in the same place.
