vince @ redline gear is the official canadian dealer for RS Taichi but I'm not sure if they're still operating under that name.

fyi: i've been wearing my rs taichi gmx motion jacket for 5 years now and it's still by far my favorite piece of gear next to my signed rossi helmet. the jacket is solid. it's been through one lowside and about 30000km, never washed it, never cleaned it and it has held up like no other. i'm the guy with 3 race suits, 5 pairs of gloves, 3 pairs of boots, 4 helmets but only one leather jacket. i plan on getting another one in the newer colors if and when i need to replace it.

Bayside Performance, Sportbike Accessories has Dainese, don't know off hand which items they have in store but they can get any item you want.

I don't know if you want to make the trip but Moto Corsa in Portland has a HUGE selection of Dainese, the selection and Ducati and Bayside is garbage they don't carry shit for sizes and only carries a few of the jackets.

If you get either Ducati or Bayside to order it you would NOT receive it till 2 months from now.

The best is find your size for the gear and order from Revzilla, I actually find them the best for Dainese gear rather than going to a Dainese store.

But remember, all Dainese jackets have different cutting so perhaps a textile fits you at 54 the leather might not fit you.

But don't worry about that as Revzilla offers free size exchanges

Their shipping is quick especially if it's in their Las Vegas warehouse, order monday get it by Wednesday or Thursday!

Picked up a really comfy aplinestar jacket on discount at holeshot today. Built in chest and back pads which is nice. Nice long 'tail' on it and long sleeves. They didn't have the helmet i wanted but i sized up the icon i wanted, so ill just order from revzilla i suppose.

go to modern, its on 12th and commerical. Offers great prices and comparable to revzilla. And keep in mind if you buy from revzilla, you'll have to pay the exchange rate. Better to buy local and help local businesses.

I bought all my gear from them and I am so glad that I did. Nat gave me his recommendations on what to get for the best safety. They priced-matched my gear to revzillas since my gear are the new 2014 models.

I can't check out any of the stores till Saturday, just want to get an idea of where to go first

pacific stocks the most rev'it gear i believe. rev'it isnt as flashy as some brands but the quality is certainly top notch. i would say it's even better than dainese in some respects

hey everyone im new to the forum and had a question regarding my 1098s. i picked it up last month and its ready for the 12k service check. i was told by my instructor that i have to go to a ducati dealership for this because of the specialty tools. is this true? if not any suggestions on where to get it serviced? i dont mind spending the money but if i can save a couple hundred that would be nice lol

FT can chime in but I believe the first major service is due at 12000km, including valve adjustment, which does require special tools. However Alfie at imperial motorcycles is regarded as one of the best Ducati techs in BC and will charge less than the dealer for sure.

thanks! ill definitely be giving them a call and 12,000km is what i ment, hopefully nothing is wrong with it i was also told that only a ducati dealership can get rid of the service light. Im assuming the mechanic at imperial can do that aswell?

Yes correct, they have all the necessary tools to work on and even diagnose your duc! Also the 12k service includes spark plugs and most importantly replacement of timing belts.

Even if the belts are in ok condition I would strongly suggest replacing them, they dry up over time and crack from wear and tear.
