I think the Patriots are somewhere between the 4 win season and this one. They will benefit from playing the Jets and Dolphins twice (and who knows wtf will happen with the Bills now) so will always be in the mix. But they are still a mid tier team in AFC.
Drake Maye is a promising young QB, but we still don't know what trajectory he'll take from here. Could be great, could be mid. I doubt he'll be bad. No matter what they better block for him better from now on!

Overall, the Pats had a great season. Very proud of
this team despite the butt kicking loss in the Super Bowl.
Coach Vrabel deserved a tonne of credit for turning this franchise around from a team with four wins two seasons ago to a trip to the Super Bowl.
Vrabel instilled a team culture based on accountability, defence, and respect.
Cris Collinsworth mentioned during SB60 yesterday that Vrabel got every playerÂ’s attention by emphasizing that “every player will respect every person in the Patriots organization”. Wow.
Vrabel was a linebacker for the Pats. won three Superbowls with Brady.
It was the defense that kept the team in the game for the half of the game.
The offensive line showed weakness throughout the playoffs with so many sacks on Drake. The protection issue was not just for the Super Bowl.
This young team will learn many lessons from this loss.
They will better and get back to another Super Bowl!
As for Drake, he is a MVP finalist. -lost the award by five votes to Stafford.
He will be a better quarterback after this Super Bowl loss.

^ I kinda agree about their future even if it is slightly biased  . I just got to get my head around that this is another gen of NE Pats (and not the gen that people are sick of) and this group deserve their time if they will in the mix for years to come. Impressed with Vrabel as a coach. Coached in Tennessee .. not very 'successful'. Got another chance back in NE and wins Coach of the Year! Obviously, they have some holes to fill on this team but future does look promising. Maye grew leaps and bounds this year, some impressive games through the season that caught my attention. If he keeps level headed which he seemed to have the character and personality to, he will only learn from this loss and hard lesson.
Don't follow Seahawks in particular but no ill feelings about Seattle either, happy for the local Seahawk fans! Great move away from the stale Pete Carroll era. They are also pretty impressive for a team with a 2nd yr coach.

ESPN sources: the Chicago Bears are working to finalize a trade that would send WR D.J. Moore to the Buffalo Bills.
Compensation still is being discussed, and the trade cannot be processed until the new league year begins, but both sides are pushing to make it happen.

That takes them out of the AJ Brown bidding, which looks like it's the Patriots and Ravens going for him now
Asking price is ridiculously high, but with only 2 teams competing it should come down. I think the Patriots can pay a lot more if they want

He was not a fit, not only on the team in general (this has been a problem since the start), but especially in Ben Johnson's offense. This is only year 2 of the Bears rebuild. Johnson started with the O line, and will go from there (and they need a new center now too, as their guy retired last week). He had already drafted the new DJ Moore (Burden) and Kmet (Loveland)

Seahawks just lost their running back Kenneth Walker III in free agency.

Malik Willis to Miami. Small sample of actual games but good potential upside from a relatively good system team. Not sure if he is worth 3 yrs at $67.5M. While they are paying Tua already.

In KC, they picked up the SB MVP Kenneth Walker III, Kelce coming back for a year. Bad news for AFC contenders ... will have to deal with KC again.

In both cases other teams picked them up, and in both cases they only lasted less than a season. One retired, one went to CFL and couldn't make the roster.
The way the Raiders are handling it is kind of fucked up, but I can see why they're pissed. They basically traded 2 firsts for Maxx Crosby, knowing he fails strict physicals! 
The reporting on this has been fun.
I was hyped for Crosby, but worried all along that he has the bad knee and has had other injuries take him out for weeks. If they think he can't go, then I trust them. Other people are pissing their pants about it, but the Ravens have a reputation for being one of the best front offices in all of sports for a good reason.
