gun help *firearm owners help me please?*

my JRC 9mm rifle is having ejection problems....aka...its not ejecting the casings at all...

its rated for 9mm parabellum rounds...and im using 9mm luger, ive asked multiple workers at gun shops and they've all said the same thing, the casing is the exact same size so it should be no problem at all...

anyone have any ideas here? ive already stripped the rifle down and rebuilt it 3-4 times...yet each time im hoping it will eject..but no...

so im stummped...

any help?

Have you tried running a parabellum round through it to verify if the problem is unique to the luger rounds?

The amount of time it would have taken you to sign up to a gun forum and the likely hood of getting an answer would have probably been quicker. With that said, I understand since RS has to no surprise helped me answer questions in a timely matter to even the most weirdest questions. Good luck!

Check for missing or broken ejector. Is it extracting the casing ? post some pics with the action opened.

^ Yup, I'd scrutinize the ejector first. Probably stating the obvious - but have you cleaned it thoroughly?

No clue about guns, but I'll just throw this out there, do the bullet brands make a difference?

seems like a common problem

http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1323177

the extractor isnt grabbing the shell?

if you load up the rifle, and cycle a round in the chamber, then pull the charging handle, does the bullet eject?
lol... be careful.

^^buy dummy rounds. Don't load live rounds even for practice. Just to be safe. But awesome for researching and finding something.

Does it even attempt to eject the casing? Is it getting stuck when it ejects or does it not move at all?

If it attempts to eject and gets stuck it could be the brand of ammo and the gun is just finicky with that brand.

If it doesn't eject at all then may be the extractor.

But my suggestion is just to google the problem and solutions as it seems it is a common problem. Somebody would have it documented somewhere. If you haven't figured it out hen I check back I'll do some research into it for you.

Good luck!

Register for Canadian Gun Nutz Forum.

My JR Carbine is 2 gen. No real major problems, had one FTF and 3 FTE with about 300 rounds. Been using American Eagle and Blazer ammo.

you are not allowed to open or concealed carry RESTRICTED firearms in Canada.

theoretically speaking you could walk down the street with a non-restricted firearm as long as it was unloaded.

HOWEVER, this would probably be the stupidest fucking thing in the world to do.

also, most firing ranges do not allow the use of holsters with handguns. you must be "holster" qualified in order to use one on range and in some instances you can only use them during special meets.
