Vancouver man pleads guilty to bestiality

Global BC | Guilty plea expected by Vancouver man facing bestiality charge

This is fucking sick! Worst of all, he is a "vocal opponent" of bestiality laws!

Check out his fb account (namely his photo albums):

I have no problem with him being a vocal opponent to bestiality laws. The law states that sex with animals cause distress and harm, but I think it needs to be proven case-by-case. A blanket law that states all sexual acts cause harm and comes with a mandatory sentence is unjust. I saw a weird ass porn where a girl was jerking off a horse..Im sure the horse enjoyed it and there was no distress there.

Anyway, not many people would speak up because they dont want to be labeled as someone who's into bestiality. Just saying that I think they need to prove that it was harmful to the animals before they give a mandatory sentence.

I think this guy(and others who are into that kind of thing) probably need some sexual counseling, not jail time.

In some places in the world, anal sex is still illegal. Not everyone does it, or admits to doing it, but is it really that bad? If its consentual, then no. Not really a fan of animal sex, but hey, if the guy enjoys it, and hes not hurting his pet, harm is where?

No he needs jail time. Dogs don't want humans.

You've never had a dog try and hump your leg?
I have.

Did a dog tell you that personally?

Its all theory. No one can prove it right or wrong.

What good will come of putting him in prison?

Yeah well a human baby can't say anything either is that implied consent too? A loyal dog will let you beat the shit out of it and still won't bite you, so saying the animal is fine with it for not putting up some sort of fight isn't a great argument.

A baby will cry. Animals may or may not make an attempt to get away.

You're comparing apples to oranges, human beings have more laws protecting us. You can kill an ant and get away with it. If you kill a human being you're gonna get charged.

So if the baby doesn't cry then it's all good right?

This is retarded logic, there are plenty of laws protecting animals, you can't just kill a dog like an ant and get away with it. I don't see this as apples to oranges, to me this shit is disgusting and just assuming the animal is all good with it seems messed up. Anyways that's my take I'll leave it at that.

Well this thread went in a direction that I didn't expect...

Vansterdam 09-24-2012 05:50 PM

Ha-Ha! Well now we call this the act of mating
But there are several other very important differences
Between human beings and animals that you should know about

You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Gettin' horny now

Okay well let's not compare it Humans vs. Ants and put it in your perspective; What species has more laws protecting them? Humans or Dogs/Animals?

Don't get me wrong, I find bestiality absolutely disgusting as well but my one and only point is that its only theory that animals don't enjoy it (or vice versa)

My point is that you can't prove an animal likes or dislikes it any more than a baby can, so why should it suddenly be based upon whether or not you think the animal likes it? Have we really stooped so low as the human race to start fucking animals and call it ok in the name of freedom? I'm down with the gay movement and all that but this is just a few notches too much for me.

Did you see the way that bitch looked at me.........
Date rape at the doggy park.
This law has religious undertones its been around forever long before people gave a damn about the fair and just treatment of animals. I for one think its right and just in being implemented as it allows society to err on the side of caution (with humane treatment of animals) and for fucks sake why does anyone need to fuck an animal!?

dinosaur 09-24-2012 06:47 PM

Well, even the article said the likelihood of jail time is slim. I am thinking it will be probation and a lifetime ban on owning animals.

The creepy weird part was him taping it.

You can. Humans and Dogs alike both show emotions.

If you try something on a baby, they will cry. Not speaking from personal experience of course, but with common sense I can almost guarantee it.

Whereas a dog would, again with common sense judgment, either sit there and take it, or run away instantly. Whether you forcefully hold it is a whole other story.

Once again, retarded logic. You're basically saying a baby will cry any time you touch it inappropriately, but if it doesn't its ok. Just like if a dog doesn't run away, then it's ok with it.

Basically anything should be legal as long as the other person doesn't run away or cry. This logic is a pedo's wet dream. "Your honor, they didn't say anything so it's all good right?"

"Touching inappropriately" is night and day different from bestiality.

Sorry to paint this picture in everybodys head but if you try to do the "gesture of bestiality" to a baby, its not going to fit, therefore causing pain, which will always cause a baby to cry.

I'm not saying "if they don't cry its okay" but there's a HUGE difference between a baby and a dog. The animals in question for bestiality are not the baby animals. People and animals after a certain age will be able to make judgement calls on their own.

There's no choice being given to an animal here lol, how are you going to enforce this, have an officer came watch the dude fuck his dog and then say "yep she really looks like she's fine with it while you pounded her from behind, here's your license to have sex with this dog"

There is choice: an animal is able to run away if they don't like what they feel (unless you forcefully hold them). Whereas a baby is not able to "run away".

hchang is echoing the position of Peter Singer, MarkyMark is echoing the position of Tom Regan; both very well recognized contemporary philosophers who have debated the topic of zoophilia/bestiality. The sex with children argument is the exact counter given by Regan to Singer's position that sex with animals is morally allowable.

Singer's position is stronger, imo.

If the horse receiving a HJ from a female in the video watched by RedlinesDaily did not enjoy the act, he could easily protested and prevented it. The horse did not protest, therefore he was a willingly participating. The only thing that makes it wrong according to law and some members of society is because it is sexual, we're allowed to jerk off horses to collect semen for IVF and such. That means the argument that it is rape-like is inconsistent, so the sexual element is the only issue. So, why is it wrong to sexualize animals? Dogs do it to people, as cited by Culverins leg humping example.

A human child cannot physically protest the act and prevent it, therefore it would equate to being non-consensual and rape.
