I don't really want to put a screen protector on my phone...it'll make me feel better if it had GC2 lol

You don't need a screen protector. Screen protectors are for sissies. I didn't have a screen protector on for the iPhone 4 for 2 years and the screen was still pristine.

"It's just a fucking phone?"

Is that what you apple fan boys say when there is a defect with your toy? I don't know anyone who would spend $700 on something and be fine with scratches and shit.

Do you say the same shit when you find scratches on your brand new accord? It's just a fucking car.

Nobody in the right mind would like to buy something and find out that there is some damage to their product.

And I agree to "stop whining, get a case." If you're so afraid of scratches and dents, get a fucking case. Don't fucking expect a company to make a phone that is invincible to dents.

"I shouldn't have to buy a phone and have to buy a case wah wah wah." Then take care of your fucking toy.

I think the problem is how easily it scratches not the fact that it scratches....

and you just gave me a brilliant idea!
Cases for your CAR!!!!!

imagine that shit fuuuu

scratches are reasonable up to a point... dont know why people dont see it that way?

with the stories on here, it definitely is NOT acceptable. There should have been months of testing different ways to anodize, or different materials using dupable tests like having the phone shake around at a very low speed in a acrylic box with some coins or keys or something. No way would any phone company want you to baby the phone to keep it looking normal, it doesnt seem like Apple cares about their image as much anymore. Imagine if you see 3 iphone 5's on the skytrain thats got some noticeable scratches on the back, you would say that the phone build quality is shit and then proceed to not want to buy it. Guess Apple didnt see this as a possibility and wanted to save that extra cash for dumb shit like a secret charger chip ==

Holy shit that might just work. Just think of all the bad drivers in taiwan, mainland china, richmond etc.

Just have all the pieces connectable so it covers the entire car. Prevent door dings, parking scratches, hit and runs, everything! :fullofwin: :drunk:

It's intelligent, but not a new idea. The Smart Fortwo features snap on body panels.

Leaving your phone in your pocket with your keys and coins is like parking your car outside instead of the garage. Expect some scratches.
