Beer Float?

My cousin wants to go for beer floats and I have no idea where to start looking for restaurants that do this. Tried google. Nothing useful.

Its apparently a seasonal product? Red Robins has beer shakes, but apparently some other restaurants/pubs do beer floats.

Any ideas where I can find these? Thanks!!

I had one at white spot, guinness and ice cream tasted awesome. Can't remember what it was called on the menu though.

why not just make it at home? my friend tried it out once and it turned out alright. I mean, unless you just want one at a restaurant specifically, I would say making it at home would be just as good of an option.

Is there anything more than a beer in a glass with a scoop of ice cream (vanilla?) involved in this? I remember having a root beer float as a kid, never heard or thought of a beer float.
