He had a shit of work done OP, Z06 dyno anywhere between 420 to 450 stock. You are right, its impossible to get 250 rwhp out of a supercharger alone, but I did see a bolt-on only Z06 (Headers, full exhaust, ram air intake, and a dyno tune) put down 530 rwhp in front of my eyes... A Vortech Supercharger kit is capable of adding anywhere between 100 rwhp to 120 rwhp. You do the math!

Consider the above 630 hp and add the other mods that he had listed (headers, exhaust and a custom dyno tune are the ones I remember). So the the 700 hp is very feasible.

PS: I would consider any street legal car than can run low 11s and trap over 130 mph as ONE of the fastest cars, where ever it is...

fair enough. what you consider to fall into the fastest cars in canada and what i do are differant. i certainly dont think low 11s would cut it for me as ive seen civics and other cars drive to mission and run 10s. not taking away from that car because its a nice car! but low 11s one of the fastest cars in canada.... come on

Thats a different story. I do not think a 10 second civic would be capable of day to day driving (to the same extent as this Vette is capable of). Correct me if I'm wrong, but if we are talking about a 10 second civic, we are talking either an engine swap or a MASSIVE turbo which probably only runs on race gas... Mind you I don't think that a 700 hp Z06 is a capable every day car either.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that that Z06 is in my opinion fully capable of being ONE of the fastest cars that were NOT build solely to run a 1/4 mile... In its own category, you would be hard pressed to find a quicker car (once again, my opinion).

Also, I'm not saying that his statement is not an over-exaggeration. I mean, I personally know of one car that will probably out run him (my friend's Switzer P800 R35 GTR). At the end of the day even that GTR is only ONE of the fastest cars as well.

Whatever you drive, there will always be someone out there who is faster.

ya thats well put. i owned a civic that was more than capable of 10s(fully built k20 and a gt40 :) ) and some people speculated lower but no dought a v8 handles that kinda power easier. that is true there is always someone faster. but for me a 700hp vette is nothing special considering how many there are with that and much more power around. but its nice to talk to someone that knows what there talking about instead of alot of the other people that replied saying i cant afford it and all this other shit lol
