It looks like the whole problem here is a discrepancy between what you define as "one of the fastest" and what others and the Corvette owner defines as "one of the fastest".

Mine would be if his car was in the top 100 fastest cars in Canada.

Do I think it is? Probably not.

I would guess that his personal definition is that he is faster than 99.99% of the cars in Canada, and he could be right.

But there are almost 20M cars in Canada, so even if there is 0.01% of cars faster than his, that's still 2000 cars.

Bottom line is, there is no absolute definition of "one of the fastest".

Statistically, he does have one of the fastest cars in Canada. This car would place in the top fraction of 1% of vehicles, even if there are others that are much quicker.

My written language skills were literally better than the op's when I was in elementary school. It's ironic that he's "calling out" someone else using the language skills of a failing fifth-grader.

The CL posting might be a little misleading but maybe the owner is using a sales man strategy.
when you get some one with a little more.money then a average joe with a lowet IQ and is looking for a car,that headlime will catch his attention,.
When it come to the actual car it is quite fast if the title is true,there is more powerfull cars out there and always be so there is no point of having a discussion of failing the op for 4 pages.
