Think about it this way: How many cars are in Canada? How many of them are pushing 700hp? Therefore, theoretically, his claims that his car is one of the fastest in Canada isn't really that farfetched. Especially for a street legal, stock-looking car.

He states that it is "one of the fastest cars in Canada", not THE fastest. Where does he say that it is the fastest? I personally have no problem believing that it is faster then 99.5% of street legal cars in Canada (Seeing that stock Z06s with drag radials run low 11s to even high 10s in the 1/4 mile), making it one of the fastest cars in Canada! 700hp vette? those things weigh nothing, and he has added 2-300 hp... this thing would fly, my buddy has a 800hp shortbox single cab silverado that thing hauled ass on 650hp and its a truck... its not hard to believe a corvette with this much power would be one of the fastest street legal daily cars around
