got this today...didn't feel like waiting for daylight to shoot it outside :derp: https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...c4&oe=59BA150B can we agree AutoArt 1/18 diecasts are the best overall package of Japanese vehicles in stock form if you don't get any defective bits? Kyosho seem prone to paint bubbles and Ignition are sealed (love the details and stance though) |
^ Definitely... I actually feel bad for AutoArt on their Facebook page, every time they post something people just troll and trash the post soooo hard saying things about being overpriced and stuff....... yet anytime OneModel (example) posts something people drool over it and no one says a word about price even though they charge more than AutoArt does and they're all resin and non-opening models! Im waiting for my 2000GT in 1:24 from Ebbro right now! |

so I just brought my first 1:18 model :grinno: i think i'm addicted lol. Where can i find a glass or acrylic cover that goes over the auto art bases? I haven't took it out of the box yes so don't quite know how it work. I would like to have a cover or display case ready for it for when I do. Where can I find a cover/display case for auto art 1:18? |

my first Exoto...feels like it weighs a kilo if this is representative of their typical stuff, I think CMC is still the benchmark for this scale the race car is a real piece of history...a replica of this chassis that was built to compete against the 250 GTO and gave Shelby the first win for an American constructor and planted the seed to build the iconic GT40 https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...c8&oe=59865F43 https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...ea&oe=59BC57DB here's the video of it in action by the original driver and designer before it was auctioned off for $7M in 2009 |

which brand reproduces the chamelon effect of the midnight purple paint best? |
that's a difficult question. based on personal preference i liked the BBR 1/12 laferrari, but that might be due to its size: http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/252173...-1/s-l1000.jpg |
anyone got space? ignition model announced this in 1/12 scale (sealed resin): https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...ea&oe=59B03F1E https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...be&oe=5975ED04 https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...57&oe=59B360C9 https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...2e&oe=59C1B87C https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...67&oe=5983894D https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...b3&oe=5981142B the only one other time IG released a 1/12 some time ago it was of the R32 GTR. they sold out really fast because of the low build numbers. the last time i saw one come up on auction it sold for double the msrp... mad. |
