It was snowing very very lightly in White Rock early yesterday morning. Saw snowflakes floating around while I was out walking the dog. I am on the border of South Surrey and White Rock just south of 16th Ave, so rather high altitude.

Say 1/10 people cant drive in the snow. Compare populations btw lower mainland + interior. There are far more people on the road who don't have an f'in clue around here. Plus there aren't many C-Lais outside of the lower mainland.. just sayin

It was so bad... Posted via RS Mobile |

Generally, if weathernetwork only predicts 1 day of snow, then it's usually inaccurate.
But if the trend is dropping and staying below 0 for an entire week, chances are it's gonna happen.

Supposedly we have a mild or "normal" winter outlook with possible snow in Jan/Feb so we shall wait and see.

Weather Channel tends to agree with Environment Canada: Vancouver Weather Forecast and Conditions - weather.com
The Weather Network has always been terrible for accuracy. When I was working with a stock car team, weather and temps were always important for tire setup, and we invariably found Env. Can. to be far more reliable - Weather Network was all over the place.
