I suppose there is no cost to providing or maintaining the machine required to pump your tires? If I was a gas station business owner, I would waive the charge for anyone that filled up with more than $5 gas prior.

In 22 years our cost has been under $1500 for our gas station. Charging for air is a scam. The gas station is getting scammed by the company providing the equipment. They say they will split the profits but once installed they will tell them it's better to give the money to charity. I wonder what % actually goes to charity.
